This is the extra tall version of the Wesco Harness boot. The picture shows a 34" boot with the #100 Vibram lug soles. Price of these made to measure boots is $1,339.
These boots normally come with two top straps, however one or both can be omitted. The standard hardware on these boots is nickel black leathers and brass with the brown leathers, however you you may explicitly specify nickel or brass.
The shaft of these boots is constructed of a single piece of leather from the heel to the top so there are no horizontal seams to mar their unique appearance. When the tops are rolled down, these boots take on a distinctive appearance similar to that of the boots worn in the 17th and 18th century by folks like the three musketeers.
The boots cost $1,339. This price includes custom fitting of the legs to your measurements and foot to the size you specify. If you'd like the foot custom made to measure we'll refer you to Wesco so you can work directly with the bootmaker to get the best fit of both the foot and leg. There are limited sizes available in the harness boot made with the square toes, even when custom made. See the size charts for each foot style on our main harness boot page. You can also have these made in a wider range of size with the round toe like the Wesco Boss Engineer boots
Our custom fitting forms give detailed instructions on getting a correct fit with these unique boots. We'll send this custom fit form to you when you place an order for the over the knee version of the Harness and Boss Engineer boots from Wesco. We'll also send you that form on request if you email us. Here's a brief description of how it's done.
You can expect a pair of these boots to shorten by about 2 to 3 inches from their original height as they break in since they flex in both the ankle and knee area. To ensure an accurate fit, we take this into account in the measuring process.
You decide on the desired height of the boots after they have broken in.
We have you take circumference measurements of your leg from that desired
top point down to your knee then from the floor up to your.
This is because most of the creasing will occur at the ankle, like standard
boots and then at the knee.
This ensures that the measured areas will be in their
correct vertical position after the boots are broken in.
When these boots are ordered in very tall sizes, you should consider having them made with no top straps. The straps aren't needed to hold up the top of the boot since they are custom fitted and the buckles may rub against your hand or arm.
The Wesco Highliner Lineman boots, Jobmaster lace-up work boots and Boss Engineer boots can also be custom made in heights taller than their normal maximum 20" and 18" heights.
Maximum height available in all styles is 38" until larger cows become available.
