The new X4⁶ is a slim, versatile family cruiser with advanced hull construction and a powerful sail plan.
The modern T-hull with heavy keel bulb gives the X4⁶ a high level of stability and enables fast, competitive sailing close to the wind and unique sailing experiences. With the new X4⁶, X-Yachts once again proves its attention to detail and presents Scandinavian craftsmanship at its finest, both inside and out.
Functional on deck The deck layout of the X4⁶ is functional and clearly structured. The halyards and sheets are guided under the saloon roof to the winches in the front cockpit, the sheets run to the winches on both sides of the double steering system. The tidy deck thus remains largely free of lines, which increases safety on board. The winches are also available electrically as an option.
Lots of storage space The spacious cockpit, cockpit benches and helmstand are covered with teak as standard. The side decks, foredeck and cabin roof as well as the optionally available electric bathing platform can also be fitted with teak on request. Behind the two steering wheels there are two hatches through which a large storage space is accessible, in which a 5.5 kW generator can also be installed. Another large storage space for the sailing wardrobe is located in the bow of the X4⁶.
Scandinavian design The interior is designed in Scandinavian style and the craftsmanship is of a high standard. The standard finishes are classic Nordic oak veneer, with bleached oak and teak available as options. Skylights and a sliding roof window in the saloon roof provide plenty of natural light below deck and allow good ventilation, which is particularly advantageous in warmer climates. Sliding roof windows made of hardened glass flood the interior with natural light. In addition to the large skylights, the side windows can also be opened to ensure excellent ventilation.
Comfort below deck The X4⁶ offers a large l-shaped kitchen with a three-burner gas stove, oven, voluminous fridge, double sink and plenty of storage space. The saloon area features a U-shaped port dining area, a large starboard couch and a well-arranged separate navigation area with a chart table and all essential instruments. The spacious owner's cabin in the foredeck offers a large king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower. The two double cabins with large double beds at the stern share the second bathroom on board which is opposite the kitchen.
Soundproofed engine compartment The soundproofed engine compartment of the X4⁶ houses a state-of-the-art 57 hp Common Rail Yanmar diesel engine as standard, which can be replaced with an optional 80 hp engine. Sealed with a heavy 8mm thick rubber layer, 50mm sound absorbing rock wool and a perforated aluminium coating, all openings are sealed to avoid noise from the engine.
