The popular annual superyacht rally by dahm international will be held
from 2nd to 5th June around the islands of Ibiza & Formentera.

dahm international is delighted to announce its 24th annual “Club Yachting Life Rally” (CYLR) from 2nd to 5th June 2011 in cooperation with Marina Ibiza in the clear waters and beautiful landscapes of the Balearic Islands Ibiza and Formentera.

The Club Yachting Life Cruising Rally is the only sailing event sponsored and organised by a superyacht broker with the idea of enriching the community life of yacht enthusiasts to indulge in their favourite hobby.

Yacht owners as well as their family and friends are welcome to join the annual club event – as repeaters or for the first time. This year, the get-together will also feature a day of regatta racing. That competition will be completed by relaxed cruising legs as well as evening entertainments in the stunning surroundings of Ibiza and Formentera.

Background: For 24 years, the “Club Yachting Life” sailing event – which also took place under the name “Jongert Regatta” – is one of the most popular and traditional sailing happenings on the annual calendar. Herbert Dahm founded the club in 1987 with the idea of providing an enjoyable setting for inspiring get-togethers of passionate sailors. The first club regatta was held in 1988 from Palma to Cabrera, followed by competitions around i.e. Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo, Corsica, Menorca and St. Tropez, always accompanied by a well-developed social programme.
