The SailCat packs neatly in two bags that fit easily in your car trunk so there’s no trailer hassle or expense and no waiting in line at a boat launch.Simply unpack and unroll the SailCat, inflate it, and go sailing. You’ll go from your car trunk to out on the water in under 20 minutes.

Rugged but light aluminum slats and slide-in Underbars form an ingenious, integrated frame. Simply unroll it and inflate it — as the hulls inflate, air pressure clamps all components tightly together making the SailCat rigid and tight as a drum.

With a hull that weighs just 98 lbs. fully rigged, the fully rigged SailCat is only 135 lbs. Its trim weight and twin catamaran hulls make it sit high in the water which reduces drag, making it a nimble and responsive sailing craft that’s simple and fun to pilot.

But don’t let the low weight fool you; this is one rugged little sailboat. You can SAIL ANYWHERE with confidence in the SailCat — rivers, ponds, lakes, even in the ocean. The hulls are made of 1,000 denier “crocodile hide” material, the same as we use in our high-performance Sport Runabouts. The mast and all hardware are made of nautical-grade, anodized aluminum — a highly specialized alloy that combines light weight, tremendous strength, and high resistance to corrosion even from salt water.
