According to the data collected by the Association and sources of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Structure, today in Greece do operate :
- 33 thirty-three marinas with 11,100 berths.
Amongst them, there are
- 26 twenty-six tourist ports and moorings
- 7 seven hotel ports with almost 2,000 berths.

In other words, seventeen out of the thirty-three (17/33) operating marinas, i.e. 52%, 6,800 Six thousand eight hundred (6,800) berths are managed and operated by privately-owned companies under long-term lease agreement with the Greek Gvt.
Four thousand three hundred (4,300) are managed either by the state or by municipalities or by port authorities.
