As a worldwide operating company it is Fischer Panda’s aim to comply with international technical standards and to focus on its further technical development on an international basis. With its NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) membership Fischer Panda profits from several advantages to strengthen its position as one of the leading manufacturers of mobile power aggregates on the international markets.
Being a NMEA member Fischer Panda is entitled to take part in trainings on all technical standards created by NMEA and is continually kept informed on developments in the marine electronics industry. Also, Fischer Panda has the possibility to have their distributors and dealers trainied and certified. Fischer Panda gains access to all standardised data interfaces and information on installation practices. In addition, Fischer Panda can present their latest electronic marine product at the annual NMEA conference and can apply for the NMEA award.
NMEA comprises more than 600 manufacturers, dealers and distributors in the marine electronics industry. It is the goal of the association to make boating even more secure by reliable marine electronics installations and to ensure a more enjoyable experience for everyone on the water.
NMEA was founded in 1957 to promote technical data standards, improve industry professionalism and strengthen relationships among stakeholders in marine electronics.
As to the development of new remote control panels and control systems for Fischer Panda’s generators, diesel-electric drive systems and onboard power solutions the use of the NMEA interface is another important communication possibility for the company.
