News from Lexi&Bö: Wanderlust, a logbook and T-shirt customization
Lexi&Bö's colorful diving fashion has established itself in the diving scene since boot 2015. With sustainable materials, maritime designs and comfortable fits, the young label from Cologne has conquered the hearts and minds of many watersports enthusiasts.
Among boot Düsseldorf regulars, these two names probably sound familiar by now - Alexa Neuhaus and Stefan Böhland, short Lexi&Bö, are the namesakes of the fashion label founded by them in the summer of 2014. Ever since they have caused a sensation in the diving community, simply because the designs on their T-shirts and hoodies include octopuses, sharks and diving bottles - things at the heart of real diving as a lifestyle.
But there is something else that is extraordinary at Lexi&Bö: their love of the environment and sustainability. Organic cotton and fair production conditions reflect this passion. In their interview with boot.de Alexa and Stefan tell us what's new at Lexi&Bö and what highlights we can look forward to right now in the Christmas season.
Some time has passed since our last conversation - what's new at Lexi&Bö?
We - like probably most of us - have had a pretty good summer and were able to gather a lot of inspiration for new designs and projects. Our fans also seemed to have had a very action-packed summer: We had an event on Facebook where our followers sent us their best diving clips. The result was a great video, with which we can now console ourselves during the diving-free season. Of course we also spend this time pushing new projects like the Lexi&Bö diver logbook and our T-shirt customizer.
With our logbook, everyone can document their dives as detailed as they like and integrate details such as suitability for diving, equipment setups and special courses in addition to their personal data. So you always have a quick overview of all previous dives as well as all important information at a glance - and all that completely customized for you. The diver logbook is now available free of charge to our newsletter subscribers.
We are intrigued! And you said something about T-Shirt Customization - please explain it to us.
This novelty is really important to us and we are already curious what our customers will make of it! It's about making Lexi&Bö fashion even more personal. For a past trip or one that you are planning or giving as a gift, the destinations of the trip can be printed on a T-shirt with a design of your choice. For this purpose we have developed the T-shirt customizer, in which our customers can choose their favourite design, size and travel location. Thus one receives a unique piece which reflects the personal journey of the wearer.

How did you get the idea for the T-shirt customizer?
Each journey is only an idea before departure, and once you return it becomes a memory. During the (sometimes long) time before setting off on a journey, anticipation can grow immeasurably and can hardly be expressed. A T-shirt with a fitting design and showing your destination underlines these emotions and displays it to the world around you. When giving a trip as a gift, especially now in the Christmas season, it is also the perfect alternative to the classic plane tickets or travel documents. And after a journey, the individual T-shirt becomes a tangible souvenir. Thus you can wear the 'spirit' further on yourself and, if being asked, talk about it and reminiscence.
Sounds like a great gift idea! Can we go designing already or is the whole thing still a dream of the future?
We have just started it! Now we are looking forward to the creativity of our customers and we are very excited to see where they are going. Hopefully this will not fuel our own wanderlust even further!
