How do I receive an invitation letter for my visa application?
With regard to entry formalities, we recommend that you contact the German embassy or consulate in your country or your travel agency.
With effect from 24 July 2013, the visa offices at the foreign representations of the Federal Republic of Germany have been informed that future applications for a visa to visit a trade fair in Germany will no longer require the presentation of an invitation from the respective trade fair company.
Exhibitors are requested to submit an exhibitor authorisation from the respective trade fair company when applying for a visa. In this case, the visa can be issued free of charge. If the exhibitor is not in possession of an exhibitor authorisation, the purpose of the trip must be made plausible in another way; in this case, a visa cannot be issued free of charge.

The delivery of materials via gate 1 (Tor 1) is possible during the opening hours of the halls.

No, assembly and dismantling certificates are not required.

Where can I book services for set-up and dismantling?
If you require services for setting up and dismantling your exhibition stand, such as a forklift truck, a crane or a container for waste, you can book these in the Online Order System. You will find these in the respective Online Order System - OOS (start page) under the menu item "Services"
AWhere can I find information on assembly and disassembly?
You will find the assembly and dismantling dates of the respective event via our stand constructor portal.
Please select the desired event via section Trade Fairs and Events and you will then receive the event-related assembly and dismantling times under Further information / Important Deadlines.
We would like to point out that in rare cases the set-up and dismantling times may change. To be on the safe side, please always check our stand constructor portal for the latest information.
Where can I find the current traffic regulations for the event?
You can find these in the stand builder portal. Select the desired event under the heading Trade Fairs and Events and you will then receive the event-related set-up and dismantling times as well as information on traffic regulations under Further information.

Post your press releases online free of charge in the digital press area via the exhibitor profile. Your product and company news will be published on the trade fair portal and guarantee you the interest of visitors and the media.
How can I transfer the data from the previous event?
Use the "Transfer content" button. Here you can select and then update your profile.
What is the exhibitor profile and where can I find it?
A well-maintained exhibitor profile increases your reach and improves the findability of your company and your products within the exhibitor and product database. So fill in your exhibitor profile with your relevant information and maintain it right from the start - it will bring more visitors to your stand.

How can I translate my profile?
Translate your profile into several languages with just one click. Simply use the "Translate profile" button in the top menu bar.
Billing only takes place for redeemed vouchers/codes (pay per use). You will only be charged for vouchers if they have actually been used for admission to the trade fair. You will not be invoiced for vouchers that have been redeemed but not used for admission. You will receive the invoice after the event.

Does Messe Düsseldorf offer a tool for distributing the codes?
You can use our customer invitation tool to send your codes to your customers. Your customers can then redeem the voucher codes for a ticket in the ticket shop. All you need is an Excel list of the guests to whom you want to send a voucher code. The best way to do this is to download our template.
Alternatively, you can also assign the codes individually by email in the visitor voucher code manager using the envelope next to the code.

Does Messe Düsseldorf offer a tool for distributing the codes?
You can use our smart distribution tool to send your codes to your stand personnel. Each employee receives a personalised exhibitor voucher code by e-mail, which they can redeem in the ticket shop. All you need is an Excel list of the employees to whom you want to send a voucher code. The best way to do this is to download our template.

How do I order digital exhibitor passes?
The free exhibitor passes are issued automatically and do not need to be ordered. If you would like to order additional exhibitor passes that are subject to a charge, you can order these in the online order system. Please note: If you have ordered more codes than you need, there will be no additional costs, as you will only be charged for the exhibitor passes you have used to gain access.
How do I create an exhibitor pass?
The following steps are required to redeem exhibitor voucher codes necessary:

3) Enter your details in the registration form.
4) You will receive an e-mail with a confirmation link.
5) After clicking on the confirmation link, you will be redirected to a website with your exhibitor pass, and at the same time you will receive an e-mail with your exhibitor pass. You can download your exhibitor pass at any time under "My orders".
6) Go directly to the entrance (turnstiles) on site. You will receive your personalised exhibitor badge when you pass through the turnstile.
The exhibitor badges are personalised for you, so you can only redeem one exhibitor badge code per e-mail address/registration. To redeem additional exhibitor badge codes, the persons concerned must register independently with their own name and e-mail address.
When will the codes be sent out?
All codes for digital exhibitor passes will be sent to your main contact person by e-mail approximately two months before the start of the event.
How do I manage the codes?
You have the option of managing exhibitor voucher codes via the Exhibitor Voucher Code Manager. There you will find - all free and chargeable exhibitor pass codes - the redeemed codes with the names of your employees - Assign and send codes - the option to cancel redeemed codes (if you cancel a free code, you will receive a new one automatically loaded into your voucher code manager within 30-45 minutes) Please note that it is not possible to offset free and chargeable codes. Therefore, please send your free exhibitor voucher codes first.
Is it possible to change the name of the exhibitor pass?
It is not possible to change names or companies on a created pass. The exhibitor pass must be cancelled online in the Exhibitor Voucher Manager. Your main contact from your company for the trade show can login there.

How can I cancel my online application?

By completing the online registration you have transmitted your legally binding registration data electronically to Messe Düsseldorf.
Online application for old exhibitors
If you have already participated in a previous event, but not in the last one, please use the online registration for new exhibitors. Our exhibitor service team can still assign a previous participation based on the customer data and the history.

Register & Order: How do I log in to OOS to place orders?
You can log in with an existing user account or create an account via Login on the OOS homepage. In order to receive the order authorization, the user account must be linked to the stand order of participation via the OOS.
Please note that products and services can only be ordered in the OOS after official admission.
Order Start & Order Deadlines: When can I order and where can I find the order deadlines in the OOS?
For some events, you can order media services via the OOS shortly before admission. All technical and other services can be ordered in the OOS after receipt of admission.
The order deadlines can be selected at the top left of the start page of the respective OOS store. All services/products are listed there with the corresponding order deadlines.
You can also find the individual order deadlines in the detailed view of each product/service.
User Management (Invite additional users): How can I invite other users to a stand order?
Additional users can be invited via your OOS user account:
My Account / Stand Management / User Management
This is where you can invite, for instance, a stand builder or further users to your stand. The invitation only refers to the currently selected stand order. Please remember that any additionally invited users have the same rights as yourself.
The event information (Mailing: Newsletter Updates) will be sent exclusively to the admin. Order confirmations are only sent to the respective user. Via the order history, the orders of all users (total overview) for the stand order can be called up.
Order overview: How can I view the order summary in OOS?
The current order summary with status of the respective item can be viewed as follows after registration in the OOS:

The order backlog is grouped by service partner. The first item is the order backlog for services provided by Messe Düsseldorf. Orders can be viewed in the respective article overview. Above the order summary in the OOS (Stand Management/View Order Summary) you will find the button "Print Order", so that you can download your current order stock (as PDF file) and print a complete overview.
Orders of previous event (Rebuy): Can I take orders from the previous event via OOS?
If you have a previous contract with orders, the button "Orders of previous event" will appear in the new stand order / in the stand management (Online Order System / OOS). You have now the option to take over orders from the previous event.
The overview lists all products that can be purchased in OOS.
The product is listed, the quantity from the previous order and the quantity in the current order (if available). If the product is available for purchase, the button for the detail page will appear. If the product is no longer available, a note is displayed.
Password reset: How do I reset my OOS account password?
Please click the Login button the OOS start page. Via the query "Can't remember your password?" you can request a link to change your password by e-mail. You will then receive a corresponding link to change, which for data protection reasons is required for 60 minutes is available for a limited time. Please consider, that a password reset function is only possible with an active user account.
Change of contact person: How do I request the modification of the contact person?

The following information is relevant for further processing:
1. Name of the person responsible so far for data comparison (data protection)
2. Reason for change (name change, change of the admin, e-mail change, etc.)

Request cancellation: How can I request a cancellation at OOS?
You have the possibility to apply for cancellation at the OOS after your login via:

If the 'Request for cancellation' button is already inactive, the cancellation must be made by the responsible department / service partner.

Order deadline / parking permits: How can I request parking permits if the order deadline has expired or they are already sold out?
As soon as the order period for parking permits has expired or the parking permits are already sold out, you will no longerbe able to make your request via the Online Order System / OOS. Parking permits can only be requested (in the case of returns due to cancellations) during the set-up period on site from our contact persons (Organisation and Traffic) in the Exhibition Management.
Purchase Order No.: Can I enter an internal purchase order number for each item ordered for the invoice?
During the ordering process you have the possibility to enter an internal order number for each item for the invoice in the step Check and Order.
Invoices (Stand rental and prepayment): When and where can I find the pre-payment payment invoice and the stand rental invoice?

Shopping cart: What function does the shopping cart have in OOS?
The shopping cart is used to store certain products there without having to call them up again before the purchase. Articles in the shopping cart are not completed orders.
When ordering articles from the shopping cart, the actual order date is always used on which the orders from the shopping cart were triggered and not the date on which an article was placed in the shopping cart.
In addition, Messe Düsseldorf will levy a late fee of 35% on all prices/charges for incoming orders/orders from 21 calendar days prior to the set-up time. This also applies to incomplete documents that are still being clarified!
We kindly ask you to order in good time, as after the order deadline has expired, online ordering via the OOS is no longer possible.
Trade fair media (brand entry): How can you be found in trade fair media using the brand or product name?
To additionally publish a trademark or product name in the official media, you can order a trademark entry (chargeable). This will create a direct association between your trademark and your company, while also increasing awareness for your brand. Please use the search function in the Online Order System / OOS "Im looking for" at the top of the page) and enter "trademark entry" to find this option.

Late booking surcharge: When is the late booking surcharge applied?
In case of delay, Messe Düsseldorf cannot guarantee handling in due form, and time and/or the services may not be executable anymore.
In addition, any orders and changes or modifications received within 21 days of the commencement of build-up will be subject to a 35% surcharge. The same applies for services utilised but not ordered in advance. Services already rendered must be paid in full.
For which period does the fee apply?
The fee covers the entire event duration, i.e. whether 3 or 9 days - the price is uniform and across all events at the Düsseldorf location.
It is calculated on the basis of the booked stand area: € 2.70 per square metre with a limit ("cap") of max. 500 sqm. This means that the exhibitor must pay a maximum of € 1,350.
Disposal fee: How must the exhibitor dispose of production waste produced during the event?
For production waste generated during the event runtime, the exhibitor must book the relevant disposal service for the material in the OOS. Billing is based on consumption. (see OOS -> Waste disposal) Please note the specifications and guidelines of Messe Düsseldorf here.
As a Service Alliance partner, you can book individual service modules or benefit from our all-round carefree package. Your central contact at the Service Alliance will take care of the complete coordination and organisation of the various services: Stand construction, rigging, catering, WiFi, digital lead tracking, cross-media advertising and outdoor advertising.
The stand configurator is a 3D exhibition stand design program. With the configurator you can easily and quickly plan your exhibition stand (system stands and equipment) according to individual wishes and thus get an overall impression and cost overview for your personal event planning.
Stand Construction Planning: I do not have my own booth. Where can I get a stand?
You can order a stand through our stand construction department. If you are an exhibitor and are planning your stand construction in Germany or abroad, the stand construction configurator is the right place for you, because we at Messe Düsseldorf can handle both national and international stand construction with you, from planning to implementation.The stand construction configurator is expected to be integrated within the online registration from mid-2022.
You are welcome to use the stand construction configurator to request a non-binding offer for your individual configuration.

Is the exhibition centre barrier-free?

Generally we advise you not to bring your dog with you to the fairground as tehere are no facilities for animals. But it is not forbidden. Dogs are not permitted at medical trade fairs.
In case of bringing a dog, the owner is responsible for the disposal of the waste. Bag dispensers are located at the entrances in the outdoor area, Drinking bowls in front of the outdoor catering area in the indoor area. Assistance dogs (such as guide dogs, hearing dogs, or service dogs for individuals with physical or mental impairments) are, of course, always welcome to accompany their owners.
How do I receive an invitation letter for my visa application?
Please note that you do NOT need a letter of invitation from the trade fair company to apply for a Schengen visa at the German Embassy/Consulate. This rule has changed since September 2013 and was adopted by the Federal Government.
For a person travelling to the fair as a visitor, you should submit the following information: 1) Visitor admission eTicket, which can be purchased online.
In addition, please contact the German embassy/consulate from which you will apply for the Schengen visa or visit their official website to find out which other documents you also need to submit in person.

Where can I rent a wheelchair?
Standard wheelchairs (free of charge) and electric wheelchairs (20,-- €) can be rented at our trade fair outpatient clinic for all trade fairs.
The wheelchairs can carry a maximum load of 100 kg. Standard wheelchairs and electric wheelchairs are only available in limited numbers.
Advance booking is therefore strongly recommended. Below is the link for pre-registration:
The rental coupons for the electric scooters amounting to 20,- € can be purchased at the fair cash desk and exchanged for an electric wheelchair at the fair ambulance.
During the entire duration of the trade fair, you can leave your clothes and luggage for storage from 1.5 hours before the official start of the trade fair until one hour after the end of the trade fair. The cloakrooms are located at the entrances.
Are suitcases/trolleys allowed on the exhibition grounds?
Yes, suitcases/trolleys are permitted on the exhibition grounds.
If you are travelling by electric car, you can charge your car in almost all of our car parks during your visit to the trade fair. A total of 19 charging points are available at six locations on our site. The exact locations of the charging stations and the technical details can be found on our site map.
Parking for people with disabilities
All visitors with an aG (extraordinarily disabled) or BI (blind accompanied) badge can park free of charge in our car parks P1/P2. You will find disabled parking spaces in Arenastraße near our North Entrance. The badge or the official sign authorising you to park in disabled parking spaces must be visible in the vehicle.

Why is the ticket shop closed for the fair? Are all the tickets already sold out?
The fair is not sold out. The ticket shop for the event typically opens 2 to 3 months before the start of the event. You can already register in the ticket shop now and you will be informed by email as soon as sales begin.

Is there an app for the event?
You can download our free app for our events from the Apple AppStore and GooglePlay. The app allows you to optimally prepare your visit to the trade fair - anytime and anywhere: The interactive site and hall plan is the perfect orientation aid on the exhibition grounds. You can jump to the individual halls at the touch of a button, zoom in on individual stands and then see all the exhibitor's information and the products they are offering. All exhibitor and product details in the entire ProWein database can be searched using a full-text search.
How can I contact an exhibitor in advance?
If you would like to contact an exhibitor in advance of the event, you can send a contact request via the exhibitor's profile. To do this, click on the button "Exhibitor may contact me". Please note that this function is only available to registered persons.
What catering options are there on the exhibition grounds?
We offer a wide range of restaurants, snack bars, bistros, self-service and take-away facilities at our exhibition centre. You can find more information in our Service-ABC.
Is the exhibition centre barrier-free?
Messe Düsseldorf has created a number of service facilities for the disabled so that you can make your visit to the fair pleasant, effective and successful. Further information can be found here.
The rental coupons for the electric scooters amounting to 20,- € can be purchased at the fair cash desk and exchanged for an electric wheelchair at the fair ambulance.
During the entire duration of the trade fair, you can leave your clothes and luggage for storage from 1.5 hours before the official start of the trade fair until one hour after the end of the trade fair. The cloakrooms are located at the entrances.
If you are travelling by electric car, you can charge your car in almost all of our car parks during your visit to the trade fair. A total of 19 charging points are available at six locations on our site. The exact locations of the charging stations and the technical details can be found on our site map.
How do I get my parking permit?
You do not need a separate parking permit for the duration of the trade fairs. You can park free of charge in car park P4 on Stockumer Kirchstraße, right next to the trade fair administration. Please understand that we cannot guarantee that there will always be sufficient parking spaces available in the P4 car park. If necessary, you will be redirected to an alternative car park.

After successful accreditation, you will receive an email with a link to the ticket shop. Here you can add your free press ticket to your shopping basket and complete your order. You will then receive an email with the press ticket as a PDF attachment to print out.
I can't register because the system asks for a password.
If the system asks for a password after you have entered your email address, this email address is already registered with Messe Düsseldorf. A registration is valid for all events organised by Messe Düsseldorf. Please enter your personal password that you chose when you registered or reset your password using the "Forgot your password?" function.
What services does the Press Center offer?
During the events, the press center is at your side with comprehensive services such as workstations, technical facilities such as free WiFi, PCs, telephone, fax or printers and copiers. Location and opening hours can be found on the website of the respective event.
Checkrooms and lockers (against a 10 euro deposit) are also available free of charge. Of course, you can also obtain press information, photo material and - for a small fee - food and drinks there. Please note that you can only access the Press Center if you have already received your press accreditation!
How can I accredit myself?
Press accreditation is possible via the respective trade show portals. You will receive your press ticket as a PDF document for immediate printing or for mobile use on your cell phone. The press ticket is accepted at all open entrances and is valid for the entire duration of the trade show. Pockets for the press ticket, lanyards and the trade fair catalog are available at the Press Center in the trade fair administration. Please understand that all non-editors, such as marketing or advertising managers, are excluded from receiving a press ticket.You can find out under which conditions you can legitimize yourself as a media representative in our accreditation guidelines.
I would like to attend a conference as part of the trade fair. Is separate registration or accreditation necessary?
The press ticket also entitles journalists to attend the conference program or a congress. Please wear your press badge clearly visible at the event. However, the number of participants in the conference rooms is limited. The press ticket therefore does not entitle you to general access to a conference room. Please also note the possibility of streaming program elements, the forums integrated into the event and accompanying conference online.

Our press team provides you with press releases, specialist articles, radio or TV reports and is available to you as a contact partner.
Can journalists get accredited on site?
You can also obtain accreditation on site. There may be waiting times for on-site accreditation, so please allow for this when you visit the trade fair. How can I change my data with which I am accredited or registered with you?
You can update your data in the Press registration area on the respective trade fair section under register/ change personal data. It is not possible to change names. Please contact us by email at privacy@messe-duesseldorf.de for a name change.
