Largest yachts of the show arrive at Düsseldorf on a pontoon on the Rhine
The year is still young but boot Düsseldorf, superyacht yards and logistic service companies have already completed the most spectacular devivery of yachts to the world's largest boat show. "The Royals of the boot Düsseldorf" were loaded onto a pontoon in Rotterdam and shipped to Düsseldorf on one of the busiest waterways in the world, the Rhine.
Having arrived in Düsseldorf, the majesties of the seas were transported on low loading trucks to their temporary home, Hall 6 of boot Düsseldorf. Fans of boot Düsseldorf gather on the banks of the Rhine every year when the luxury yachts arrive. This year the barge's cargo is even more valuable than in previous years. The first pontoon to arrive carried a prominent, international cargo from Great Britain, Italy and Dubai.
The star of boot 2018 The British Princess - a Princess 35M - will probably be the star of the boot 2018. It has been a long time since a yacht of this size had entered one of the exhibition halls in Düsseldorf. Calculated in feet, her length is 115 feet and 4 inches, which is exactly 35.15 meters. In terms of weight, the royal beauty also has a lot to offer and, at 170 tons, is also the heavyweight of this year's show. The starting price for the luxury yacht built at the British Princess shipyard based in Plymouth is about 8 million British pounds - and there are of course no limits to increase the price with further added luxurious features.

Further superyachts on the pontoon The Majesty 100 comes from the exclusive production line of the Dubai Gulf Craft shipyard. She is the second largest and second heaviest boat of boot Düsseldorf 2018 with 104 feet and 4 inches (31.70 meters) in length and 123 tons weight. But although slightly smaller, the three other beauties on board the pontoon have no need to hide as they represent Italian grace and elegance at its best: The 21-meter-long Azimut S7 carbon yacht (price: 2.3 million euros), the 16-meter Azimut 50 (price: 1 million euros) as well as the Ferretti Pershing 70 (21 meters at the price of 3.8 million euros) will anchor temporarily Hall 6 of the exhibition centre.
