The Swedish X Shore shipyard has just been awarded the German Design Prize 2020 for outstanding product design. The prize is awarded to projects that make groundbreaking contributions to the German and international design community.
The jury was convinced by the fact that the speedboat is 100 percent electric, can reach up to 40 knots with a single charge and has a range of 100 nautical miles. The X Shore Eelex 8000 with its clear, minimalist design is a true design icon and contributes to the protection of the oceans as a sustainable innovation. The Swedish owner of X Shore, Konrad Bergström, will explain the shipyard's special philosophy at the press conference on January 20th at 3:00 pm.
