A 170-year-old trophy made the long journey from New Zealand to Düsseldorf: The "pot" of the America's Cup presendet by Prada arrived in Düsseldorf on Saturday at 12:40 pm. On Sunday, the trophy was displayed in Hall 17/C70.

Yanmar, the official marine partner of the 36th America's Cup - also unveiled the first pictures of the X47 Express Cruiser made by the company, the competition's official VIP cruiser, at a media day during boot.
Yotaro Tsuchiya, Head of the Yanmar Design Strategy Office, together with Mirko Groeschner - Commercial Director at Challenger of Record 36 srl - the organisation responsible for organising the events of the America's Cup World Series in Sardinia and Auckland and the Prada Cup Challenger Selection Series - gave a first glimpse of the new X47 EXPRESS CRUISER, which will support the upcoming America's Cup events in its role as official VIP cruiser.
In a relaxed atmosphere, young and young-at-heart people can get a big step closer to their sailing dream. For the first time the original cup - from 1851 - of the Americas Cup presented by Prada came to Düsseldorf. The trophy of the oldest sailing regatta still held today has thus travelled 18,538 kilometres from New Zealand to the metropolis at the Rhine, promoting the impressive competition.
