Important information: Regulation for visitors - Vaccinated or recovered at boot Düsseldorf 2022

Dear exhibitors of boot 2022,

We are very pleased that you will be on board with us again at boot 2022 in Düsseldorf from 22 to 30 January.

On 24 November, the updated Covid Protection Ordinance was announced in our federal home state of North Rhine-Westphalia and we can inform you that boot 2022 is fully on course!

This means for the visitors, only vaccinated or recovered (the certificate must not be older than six months) people may experience boot. This guarantees a high level of safety for all involved in the running of the fair.

For you as an exhibitor, since you are at boot exclusively for professional reasons, you must be vaccinated, recovered or tested - with a test result not older than 24 hours (antigen test) or 48 hours (PCR test). Please understand that based on the Covid Protection Regulation, testing is mandatory for those of you who have not been vaccinated with EU-approved vaccines. For all those who have not been vaccinated or are recovered, masks - medical or particle filtering half mask - are compulsory during the entire day of the fair.

However, we appeal to you and your stand staff to also attend the boot vaccinated or recovered. A high vaccination rate offers the greatest possible safety and plays an essential role in quickly returning to pre-Covid 19 conditions.

Entry for participation in the fair is also possible from non-European countries. Official information on entry regulations for exhibitors to Germany can be found on the website of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry.

We are delighted that you are so committed to supporting us in the planning of boot 2022! Together, we are sending a positive signal for our sport, the market and the entire industry. From December onwards, boot will specifically address its international visitors via its online activities and in the worldwide trade media. In addition, we also ask you to intensify your marketing activities for your visitor promotion. In this way, we reach our target groups together and encourage them to have a successful water sports season.

Therefore, please also note the information from our press team regarding the submission of your press releases and photos on premieres, new products and innovations: As the editorial deadline for the January issues is approaching for many trade media, please send your press releases to boot.presse@messe-duesseldorf.de. Please arrange dates for press conferences directly with the press team so that any overlap can be avoided.

All information on hygiene measures at boot can be found here.

Your contact person in the boot team will be happy to answer any individual questions you may have.
