Frisian world premiere wins European Powerboat of the Year award 2016
The new Elegance distinguishes itself from its predecessors with a free straight bow, a courageous build with lots of glass and a double curved roof line. The hull windows guarantee a lot of light and air in the sleeping quarters. A modern design, yet equipped with the Boarnstream DNA: built with steel, solid and of a very high quality.
Frisian with a touch of Italian style The 12.16 m Boarncruiser 1200 Elegance Sedan, a world premiere at boot Düsseldorf 2016 from the Netherlands, conveys a wonderful sense of joie de vivre on (almost) a single level. The steep bow gives the steel yacht plenty of space below deck and an extra-long waterline. This improves handling characteristics and increases its speed. The Volvo Penta Diesel D3-150 generating 150 hp propels the displacement-hull vessel to up to 9 knots. The large window frontages in the saloon with its helm station high above the waterline offer an almost panoramic view from the interior. Below deck, the owner and guests have two cabins for the night and a shared shower. With a height of 2.75 m above the waterline, it passes effortlessly beneath many bridges without having to wait for their opening times.
