The new MY 40 extends the line of motor catamarans from Fountaine Pajotand closes the gap between the MY 37 and the MY 44.
The new Fountaine Pajot MY 40 convinces with a contemporary design. The elegant lines in combination with a striking bow give the MY 40 a slim and sporty look that is underlined by its outstanding performance. Powered by a maximum of two Volvo Penta IPS 500 engines with 370 hp each, the MY 40 will be one of the fastest touring catamarans on the market today.
Spacious flybridge But the "small" MY 40 is not only big in terms of performance; the space available on and below deck is also considerable. The spacious flybridge is shaded by a hardtop and offers a high level of comfort. A large sun lounger in the front area next to the outside steering position offers two people a comfortable place to sunbathe at lofty heights. In the rear area there is a well-equipped wetbar with outdoor grill, sink and fridge and a generously sized U-shaped dining/sitting area with a large dining table and shelves where five people can enjoy a comfortable stay.
Comfort and space on deck The foreship of the MY 40 is equipped with two additional sun loungers. From here you can safely reach the covered cockpit via the wide running decks, which is furnished with an l-shaped seating group and table. Two stairs on both sides of the cockpit provide access to a large bathing platform on which a dinghy can be carried. A large sliding glass door leads from the cockpit directly into the kitchen area of the saloon. The u-shaped kitchen offers every comfort imaginable, has an ergonomically placed oven and an extra large refrigerator. The actual saloon is generously proportioned and, thanks to the large window fronts, offers a bright, friendly meeting place for social gatherings in the evening.
Kingsize bed in the owner suite Below deck, Fountaine Pajot continues the generous interior design. The MY 40 is initially available in a Maestro version with three spacious double cabins and two bathrooms. The huge owner's suite extends across the entire port hull. A small hallway leads directly to the large suite, which occupies about two thirds of the ship's midship width and offers a kingsize island bed. The bathroom and separate toilet occupy the entire port bow of the MY 40. In the starboard bow there is a double cabin with a bunk bed. The second bathroom for guests is located on the saloon companionway and has a separate shower cubicle. At the rear there is another double cabin with a large double bed, so that a total of six people can travel comfortably on the Fountaine Pajot MY 40.
