High quality, traditional shapes and robust construction are qualities with which Grand Banks is associated and which can also be found in the new Grand Banks 60. New, however, is the vacuum infusion process using carbon.
The Grand Banks 60 combines a beautiful, classic design with a unique performance and fuel economy that surpasses any yacht in its class. By using carbon, the Grand Banks has succeeded in establishing a very stable and robust hull with low weight, which has a positive effect on performance and fuel consumption. Equipped with two Volvo Pentas IPS 1200 900 hp, the GB 60 accelerates to an impressive 36 knots top speed and offers a maximum range of an impressive 2,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Flybridge or Skylounge The GB 60 is available as an open flybridge or as a skylounge model. The canopied flybridge model offers a comfortable, large seating area with table and a large sun lounger on the bridge. The rear area can also be used as a dinghy garage thanks to davit. The Grand Banks 60 Skylounge model has a closed bridge which provides extra comfort and living space. The Skylounge is fully air-conditioned and allows access to the bridge regardless of weather conditions.
Salon in classic design The main deck has a large bathing platform and a spacious cockpit with a large seating area and wet bar, which provides access to the saloon area. The saloon is decorated in noble woods and classic design and has a large seating area, whether for dining, relaxing or socializing. A large, open, u-shaped kitchen, which is of course fully equipped, completes the living and dining area to the front. Optionally, the GB 60 is available with a large aft cabin with separate bathroom and large double bed on the main deck, if a drive with normal shaft system is installed.
Spacious owner suite In the lower deck, which is also clad in noble and highly polished woods, the GB 60 can sleep up to six people. A large double cabin with en-suite bathroom, which serves as the owner's suite, is located on starboard side of the midship. In the foredeck is the second double cabin, which is also equipped with a large double bed and is not inferior to the owner's suite in size, but does not have a separate bathroom. The second bathroom is shared by the foreship cabin and two single cabins on port and aft of the engine room.
