The new Nuva M6 Open from Spain is a real eye-catcher in a noble design, which also surprises and impresses on deck with some sophisticated technical features.
With the Nuva M6 Open, the small Spanish shipyard Nuva Yachts once again presents a modern, sporty boat that captivates with its minimalist design, walkaround concept and some finesse. Nuva CEO Andrés Cárdenas, who was CEO of Bavaria Yachts about ten years ago, is further expanding the family company's model range with the M6 and M6 Open and continues to focus on an appealing design language and surprising functionality.
Driving fun with up to 40 knots With its distinctive V hull with straight stem and pronounced chines, the M6 Open is stable in the water and offers consistently good, sporty handling characteristics. Powered optionally by a 100, 130 or 200 hp outboard engine, the new Nuva glides from around 20 km/h and reaches speeds of up to 40 knots at peak with the large engine. So with the Nuva M6 Open, the driving fun is never neglected.
Clever solutions on deck On deck, the Nuva M6 Open with its centre console has some surprises to offer. The rear part of the driver's seat folds out to reveal a complete outdoor pantry with a single-flame stove and sink. The l-shaped benches in the cockpit can be quickly transformed into a U-shaped seating group or a complete sun lounger, providing ample stowage space for cushions, fenders and water sports accessories. On the foredeck, the M6 open offers two upholstered benches, one in the bow and one in front of the steering console, which can also be converted into a large sun lounger using optional cushions. From the centre console, a sliding door leads to the minimalist cabin of the Nuva M6 Open, which nevertheless offers space for a chemical toilet and plenty of stowage space.
