The new Dufour 390 Grand Large was designed by the Italian engineering office Felci Design. Inspired by the hull design of the Dufour Exclusive series, it adopts its innovative developments.
The Dufour 390 GL is the first entirely new development of the shipyard after the takeover by the catamaran manufacturer Fountaine Pajot and presents the next generation of Dufour Grand Large hulls. They stand out above all due to the relatively wide stern, which leads to an increase in the available interior volume without having a negative effect on the sailing characteristics. The relatively wide and flat hull of the 390 Grand Large remains powerful and provides increased stability for safe and easy sailing.
Modernised deck The deck of the new Grand Large Series has been completely modernised, all hatches and skylights are flush with the deck and the saloon roof is relatively wide, enlarging the interior space below deck. A deep cockpit provides a well protected space on deck and features a large folding cockpit table and high coamings. Also new are the elegant instrument pods on the dual steering system and the LED lighting around the deck. The large folding bathing platform has an integrated bathing ladder for easier access to the boat.
Variety below deck The Dufour 390 Grand Large is a versatile and spacious boat below deck. For the interior the owner can choose between three woods: Moabi, oak and teak. The interior and furniture are modern, functional and solid. With its swiftly widening hull and wide saloon roof, the 390 GL is very spacious below deck and even offers space for a three-bath double cabin layout in the charter version.
Owner's Version As standard, the Dufour 390 Grand Large offers two double cabins with double beds in the owner's version. The spacious owner's cabin in the foredeck offers an elegant en-suite bathroom. A second bathroom with large separate shower is located midships to port opposite the l-shaped kitchenette overlooking the spacious living and dining area in the saloon. The second double cabin in this version is located at the aft. In an additional layout version, two double cabins are provided in the aft, however, this will eliminate the space for the sailing wardrobe and the large separate shower.
