The Solaris 44 is a luxurious cruising yacht with solid performance that can be sailed safely even with a small crew.
The new Solaris 44 is designed as a cruiser/racer and is a reliable blue water yacht for long cruises that is also suitable for sporty sailing. It replaces the 2016 Solaris One 44 and closes the gap between the Solaris 42 and the Solaris 47. The yacht designed by Javier Soto Acebal adopts the modern design of the larger 47 with a wedge-shaped hull, two rudder blades and short-handed cockpit layout.
Sporty sailing characteristics With the streamlined bow and wide stern with chines and the modern hull shape, the new Solaris 44 offers absolutely sporty sailing characteristics. The tidy deck layout with the sheets and halyards running below deck to the winches at the helm positions keeps the entire cockpit and the side decks free of tripping hazards and allows easy trimming of the sails from the two helm positions. The dual steering system also provides free access to the Solaris 44's large fold-down bathing platform.
three-cabin layout Like the Solaris 42, its larger sister, the Solaris 44 offers an amazing amount of volume and comfort below deck for a yacht of this size. The Solaris 44's three-cabin layout with owner's cabin and en-suite bathroom with separate forward shower cubicle offers a six-man crew plenty of comfort and freedom of movement. The wide stern creates plenty of space in the aft section, creating plenty of room for two spacious, luxurious aft cabins with large double beds sharing the second bathroom below deck.
Freedom of movement The spacious saloon is bright and friendly thanks to the wide hull windows, the skylights and the surrounding windows of the flat deck structure. The l-shaped kitchen directly at the companionway offers upscale equipment and, in addition to a three-burner stove, oven, double sink and large refrigerator, also offers plenty of additional storage space. The lounge area with its cosy u-shaped seating / dining area, additional couch and separate navigation area is generously designed and offers plenty of freedom of movement below deck.
