As one of the world market leaders for performance cruisers, DEHLER begins a new chapter in its over 50-year history - the Dehler 30 od. In the tradition of Sprinta Sport and DB1, DEHLER presents a new offshore design class focusing on two-hand long distance racing.
Optimized hull design
An optimized hull design, equipment and sails developed by the world-renowned judel / vrolijk & co designers allow maximum speeds and safe navigation at wind speeds from 4 to 40 knots. The concept stands for highest safety of the crew according to the CE-directives category A - without regard to a handicap system.
Optimized for two-handed sailing
The deck layout is optimized for efficient two-handed sailing. It enables enhanced interaction between skipper and crew and is the result of various ergonomic studies. A wide and complete sail setup for different conditions makes the boat fast, and the handling sporty and challenging. The Dehler team has been advised by various offshore professionals to take into account the latest developments in offshore racing.
The interior offers maximum functionality and stands for modern and contemporary design. Studding sails, adjustable berths and plenty of storage space for equipment, spare parts and tools ensure maximum comfort at sea in every situation. With a separate toilet and a fully equipped pantry, no comfort is missing. A central, flexible navigation corner contains all navigation devices and can be moved to the windward side at any time.
4 - 6 berths make the boat also variable for daily use. Clear surfaces and modern design complement a unique and outstanding product. After two years of intensive research, design and development, the Dehler 30od has become a perfect product for the new generation of sailors who face the challenge of double/short-handed offshore racing.
