Both the Touring and Ultimate versions have a carbon mast and a batten traveller system for easy and safe control of the fully battened mainsail. Code-0 and gennaker are optionally available.
Lots of light
All cabins have plenty of light from the cabin sides and the hull windows, the 6 skylights on the roof of the main cabin provide optimal lighting and ventilation throughout the boat. The two large trampolines offer plenty of space on the deck, ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. The floats each contain 2 deck hatches and offer ample storage space for bicycles, kayaks, extra sails, SUPs, inflatable boats, etc.
The Dragonfly 40 offers a large two-zone cockpit. The aft section has double steering systems, all steering lines and functions are returned to the four standard electric winches in the aft section for easy and safe steering. The front part of the cockpit is completely free of lines and has a removable table to provide a relaxing social area for crew and guests.
The boat is equipped with an open transom, but is also available with a folding composite panel that closes the cockpit and folds down as an extension of the cockpit floor as a bathing platform. 4:1 mainsheet system, guided below deck to the outer electric winch for easy mainsail control. The mainsail preventer is standard on both sides. All halyards are guided below deck back to the winches and clutches in the stern.
Each steering position is designed for the installation of up to 12" GPS plotters and 2 additional navigation displays as well as bow thruster and anchor winch control panels. In addition, there is space above the companionway for additional electronic displays.
