The Grand Soleil 42 LC is the new entry-level model in Cantiere del Pardo's Blue Water line. Comfort, ample space and sailing autonomy are the main features of this new 12 metre yacht. The 42 LC will be available in two versions: Standard or Sport.
More hull volume
The hull of the GS 42 LC, which was again designed by Marco Lostuzzi, guarantees high stability through a larger hull volume. The well proportioned sail plan optimizes the high sailing standards. Like the rest of the Long Cruise Range, the Grand Soleil 42 LC is designed to offer more and more luxurious comfort on board. The standard version is already equipped with benches in the aft and a carbon arch above the cockpit to keep this area clear of the main sheet traveller.
Two and three cabin versions
The interior is available with a choice of two or three cabins to suit the customer's needs. Both versions include two shower bathrooms. In the saloon there is a three-seater sofa on the starboard side, while the centre seat can be converted into a chart table. The L-shaped kitchen is equipped with a main refrigerator and an optional second refrigerator as well as many storage compartments.
The Grand Soleil 42 LC was designed on the basis of a sturdy GRP sandwich construction, which is lined with glass fibres and infused with special resins. The water pass is elegantly painted and features decorative stripes, which gives it a particularly dynamic appearance.
