The Dive Center at boot 2022 has a number of attractions in store for visitors. On an area of just under 1,000 square metres, there will be a wide range on offer here for divers and those who want to become divers throughout the nine days of the trade fair. Here is the most important information from the Dive Center 2022!
Daily trial offers for beginners: TryScuba, TryMermaid & TryApnea
The boot has already made trial diving possible for thousands of trade fair visitors and has without a doubt generated plenty of new divers. In addition to the "classic" TryScuba with a compressed air tank (trial diving), diving beginners can also try out mermaiding and apnea diving every day at the Dive Center.
TryMermaid is aimed at visitors aged eight and over (children must have a bronze swimming badge). Becoming a mermaid at last is no longer a distant dream, but can finally come true at boot Düsseldorf!
The trendy topic of apnea diving will also be on the agenda at boot. Our daily TryApnea program allows for initial experiences with freediving and gives visitors the chance to discover diving from its "light" side - completely without a compressed air cylinder.
Daily workshop program in the brand new diving tower
In addition to introductory offers for beginners, there are also workshops for experienced divers. The program includes daily workshops on finning techniques, buoyancy and diving with scooters. These workshops are intended for fully trained divers and will take place in the brand-new diving tower, which will be ceremoniously inaugurated at boot 2022. The new Plexiglas diving tower has a diameter of eight metres and is four metres deep.
Fans of the boot already know that the Dive Center also has one of the coolest stages of the fair. Again in 2022 there will be an extensive stage program with international guests and filmmakers presenting the world of diving from its best side.

As every year, a number of outstanding photographers will do the honours at Pixel World in hall 11. Their work is done on, under and in the water.
