MINELAB UNVEILS NEW FLAGSHIP DETECTOR – THE GPZ 7000 WORLD’S MOST ADVANCED GOLD DETECTOR

Revolutionary Zero Voltage Transmission (ZVT) Technology Delivers Unprecedented Power & Performance For Maximum Depth & Increased Sensitivity

Minelab, the world leader in providing metal detecting technologies for consumer, humanitarian demining and military needs, today announced the official release of its new flagship product, the GPZ 7000. Equipped with Minelab’s exclusive groundbreaking Zero Voltage Transmission (ZVT) technology and state-of-the-art features, the GPZ 7000 offers the deepest ground penetration and represents the most significant advancement in gold detecting technologies in years. This revolutionary gold detector delivers the next generation of technology to discover the deepest gold in mineralized ground and the highest sensitivity available to detect even the smallest traces of gold.

“With up to 40 percent depth improvement combined with simplicity of use, when compared to our GPX 5000, the GPZ 7000 will unequivocally revolutionize the gold detecting industry,” said Peter Charlesworth, Executive General Manager, Minelab.

Outfitted with powerful anti-counterfeit technology, the rugged, weatherproof detector uses a new “Super-D” configuration that combines a center transmit winding and two receive windings to significantly reduce interference from highly magnetic soils. The GPZ14 coil is fully waterproof and can be submersed in up to one meter of water. Powered with a high capacity lithium battery, the detector can last over eight hours on just a single charge.

“With field testers around the world already having incredible success with the GPZ 7000, we are thrilled to be introducing the next generation of gold detectors to the market,” said Gary Schafer, General Manager of Worldwide Consumer Markets for Minelab Electronics.

While ideal for the professional gold miner, the GPZ 7000 is also a perfect fit for relic hunters who demand superior performance and want to recover targets deeper than ever before possible.
