Company “O Yachts” showcase New “SPINE CONCEPT" Class 6 catamaran in Dusseldorf This year, catamaran manufacturer "O Yachts" will participate in 47th international Boat Show Dusseldorf.

All exhibition visitors will be warmly welcomed at the "O Yachts" booth. Company representatives will present luxury catamaran models, which are built upon order and stand apart not only with their elegant design, but also with speed, stability, comfort, and safety. Established in 2012 and geared towards international markets, the "O Yachts" company builds exclusive catamarans in a shipyard in Engure, Latvia.

During the exhibition, "O Yachts" will showcase its latest development, catamaran Class 6. Its new “spine concept" was developed by Laurent BOURGNON, while its design is the work of O Yachts engineering with consultant car designer (Andrei TROFIMCHOUK), Naval architecture went to Doug Schickler & Davide Tagliapietra.

Class 6 "spine concept" is changing mast load - from transversal bulkhead to longitudinal beam. Longitudinal beam is executed in an exclusive design from the very front (bowpole) to the very back. This beam is not only a wave piercing device, to split waves before impact on wet deck, this is also the secret to offer huge living area and top performance. Where traditional transversal mast bulkhead is stopping living area, the longitudinal beam gives total freedom for mast to be perfectly positioned on mass center in a much longer living area.

With 42m2 living area on wet deck (cockpit and saloon with optional forward cockpit), Class 6 offers more space than charter oriented catamarans on a 18m / 13T race pedigree. To achieve such weight, O Yachts has to use top technologies with 100% carbon structure (beams, bulkheads, mast pole) with epoxy resin infusion method.

Spine concept is also changing the way you manage the boat. With a reduced main sail and bigger front triangle, you handle this 60ft like a 50ft. Nowadays, electric furlers and furling asymmetric are changing your life for sail management. Class 6 N°1 being built for delivery 2017. It is 18.5 meters long. Class 6 are sizable from 17.9 (short tail) to 19.5 (long tail) and is adaptable to suit any customer's desires – owner or charter oriented catamaran with the latest technologies for better performance and superior comfort.

The "O Yachts" stand will also present other catamaran models. The Class 4 catamaran (14 meters long) unbelievably fast and easy to sail. New larger cockpit on Class 4 for boat delivered april 2016. With this catamaran, it is possible to travel 250 miles in complete comfort. The "O Yachts" stand will be open throughout the whole time of the 47th international Boat Show Dusseldorf exhibitions – January 23-31th.
