FIM | Fabbrica Italiana Motoscafi returns to Boot Düsseldorf, the prestigious indoor boat show scheduled from January 18 to 26, 2025, reaffirming its position as a key player in the international boating industry. The spotlight at FIM’s stand will shine on two iconic open walk-around models from the Regina Series: the 440 Regina and the 340 Regina, both of which epitomize the shipyard’s hallmark excellence in craftsmanship, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail.
The German event will also serve as the stage for the debut of the new Contessa Series, featuring the FIM 560 Contessa and FIM 640 Contessa. These sport fly yachts are distinguished by sleek, dynamic lines and a revolutionary approach to comfort and technology. In particular, FIM will unveil details of the 640 Contessa, developed in collaboration with Design aLOT for the exterior—as with the 560 Contessa—and Designworks, the innovation studio of BMW Group. Designworks has brought its premium and luxury design expertise from the automotive sector adapting it to the yachting world.
The collaboration with Designworks on the FIM 640 Contessa concept encompassed multiple facets, including an essential and multifunctional interior design layout and the development of the exclusive “FIM Driving Experience”. The Munich based design team also proposed cutting-edge materials inspired by the automotive world, enhancing the yacht’s driving experience. A standout feature is the advanced lighting system, which allows for customizable onboard atmospheres, transforming the yacht into a serene oasis or a vibrant entertainment space at the touch of a button.
With the debut of the Contessa Series, FIM reinforces its commitment to delivering yachts that are increasingly innovative, emotionally engaging, and customer-focused. Boot Düsseldorf provides the perfect platform to demonstrate how the shipyard, founded by Corrado Piccinelli, Manuela Barcella, and Vannis Marchi, continues to push boundaries, offering owners vessels that represent the future of yachting.
