The Düsseldorf Messeturm is buzzing with anticipation for boot 2023, which will once again cast its lines in Düsseldorf from 21 to 29 January. Around 1,500 exhibitors will be on board. "Our big thanks go to the international exhibitors who support us so excellently with their loyalty and enthusiasm for boot. Visitors to boot 2023 will witness a firework display of yachts, boats, sport, fun and action in an area of the size of 31! football pitches in 16 exhibition halls", explains Messe Düsseldorf CEO Wolfram Diener.
boot Düsseldorf will also score points in 2023 with its exceedingly internationality. Boatyards, suppliers of diving equipment, manufacturers of boards and canoes as well as numerous destinations around the world will transform the exhibition halls in January into the largest global indoor water sports event. boot Director Petros Michelidakis: "The world is a guest at boot 2023. The list of the 68 exhibiting countries spans the globe from Australia to Cyprus. I am particularly pleased that numerous diving regions have once again found their way to us and will guide visitors away to exotic underwater worlds. For example, diving centers from Egypt, Curaçao, Israel, Cuba, Mauritius, Oman and Palau will present their dream destinations. With the new diving tower and innovative equipment, Hall 12 is once again the hub of the diving scene."
Powerboats of all classes and the "global brands" of luxury yachts on board in Halls 1, 3, 4 to 6 and 7a.
The tour of boot 2023 starts in Hall 1 with medium-sized motor yachts and steel yachts from the traditional shipyards – among others Bavaria, Bénéteau, Greenline, Jeanneau, Linssen and Marex. The "Motor Walk" of boot continues through Hall 3, where there are motor boats in classes up to ten meters – among others the Brunswick Group with Searay, Quicksilver und Bayliner - and outboard motors of all sizes and classes – among others Honda, Mercury, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Yamaha. Scandinavian motorboats and many models with innovative, alternative drives are the hit in Hall 4 – among others Arksen, Axopar/Brabus, Candela, Finboat, Nimbus, Saxdor and X-Shore. The Superboat Hall 5 impresses with both classic elegance and futuristic new developments in tenders and noble dinghies, the so-called shadowboats – among others Boesch, Boston Whaler, Cantiere del Pardo, Nautor/Swan, Frauscher, Rand Boats, Wally and Zar Formenti. And then it's on to the luxurious highlight of boot: in Hall 6 the long-hulled beauties of the luxury shipyards will be competing – among others Absolute, Azimut, Fairline, Ferretti, Princess, San Lorenzo and Sunseeker. Those who like it even bigger and more comfortable will get their money's worth with the models of the super yacht manufacturers and the ideas for exquisite interior design in Hall 7a – among others Art for living, Deutsche Yachten, Ocean Independence, Superyacht France and Whisper Power.
Relaxing with maritime art in Hall 7
After so much luxury impressions, the eye looks forward to a picturesque relaxation in Hall 7 with maritime art. Well-known artists will delight visitors with their large-format paintings with sea scenes, delicately drawn model ship drawings or sculptures.
Innovative technology in Halls 9, 10 and 11 - "blue innovation dock" sustainability forum
Well rested and relaxed, we set off for the breathtaking technology halls 9, 10 and 11 at boot. From boot 2023 on, the growing segment of motor boats will also include Hall 9 with tender boats and ribs up to ten meters – among others Alltechnik, Highfield, Seabob, Zar Formenti, Williams as well as an Estonian joint participation. This will be followed by the engine manufacturers with their latest, innovative drives as well as marina outfitters, boat outfitters, accessory manufacturers and maritime clothing in Hall 10.
This is also where the new "blue innovation dock" (bid) will attract visitors, a stage with a discussion forum for topics relating to sustainability in boat production, boating and the environmentally friendly orientation of boat harbours and large marinas. On all nine days of the fair, top European politicians, the manufacturing industry, marina operators and international associations will be in attendance. Visions and concrete implementations for water sports are on the focus at bid. The program is coordinated by the Association of the European Boating Industry (EBI).
Tips from professional boat builders for "do it yourself" professionals
Professional boat builders, restorers and "do it yourself" professionals will experience an active exchange among sailmakers, painters and outfitters in Hall 11. The focus will be on the exchange of experience and experts in the "Refit Center".
Hall 12 shines with new diving tower
Afterwards, visitors will visually dive deep into the glittering waters of the new diving tower in Hall 12. With a diameter of eight and a height of four metres, it is the meeting point of the international diving community. In the "Dive Center" prominent trendsetters of the scene will report on their exciting diving safaris on all nine days of the fair, manufacturers will present innovative new technical trends or let diving travelers dream of their next holiday under water. Anna von Boetticher will be as usual the expert guide of the varied program. Around the "Dive Center" the big names from the manufacturers, dealers and tour operators will appear and present their current offers - Beluga Reisen, BtS Europa, Cressi, Garmin, Mares and Padi.
"Destination Seaside" in Hall 13
Unbound, versatile and ripe for holidays, Hall 13 presents holiday regions all over the world, the latest houseboat creations, charters and marinas as well as the variety of activities in the most beautiful water sports regions in Europe and exotic destinations overseas. "Destination Seaside" offers plenty of highlights for everyone who loves holidays by the water. The stage in the holiday world with its holiday feeling invites you to experience cultural diversity, country days, book presentations or travel bloggers live on site. The well-known presenters André Scheidt and Katharina Knoll will skilfully stage the programme.
Paddle sports, old treasures and "Seaside Camping" in Hall 14
Hall 14 will welcome fans of canoeing in the "World of Paddling". In the canoe canal, small and big boat fans can paddle their laps in front of an impressive mountain backdrop and relax at the same time. Tips for the next paddling tour are available on stage with paddling and SUP expert Lars Thierling. Friends of classic boats will find their fulfilment during a visit to the "Classic Forum". Specialist Bernd Klabunde and his team will transport visitors to a seemingly long-sunken world of wooden boats, the first sleek motor boats or small sloops. A special highlight for classic boat fans is the boat auction on the second boot weekend in the "Classic Forum". Also in Hall 14, the popular "love your ocean" stand with seven information islands will encourage visitors to think and exchange ideas about marine conservation. Experts from the German Marine Foundation e.V. will be on hand to answer questions at the stand and during the informative stage program. On 24 January, the Foundation invites you to the international "Ocean Forum" there.
Tips for professionals and beginners at the "Sailing Center" in Hall 15
In Hall 15, the whole world of sailing regattas, associations, "Sailing Center" and "Start Sailing" are on board. The scent of the big, wide world wafts over the stage of the "Sailing Center", here the stars of the international sailing scene are at the helm and report on breathtaking trips on the world's oceans. And the young sailors can also take a hand at the tiller themselves. Experienced sailing instructor Silke Krüger from Düsseldorf's Unterbacher See will give practical tips on jibing and tacking, and there will be taster sailing for children at the boot "Sailing Pool". The sailing highlight in Hall 15 is the spectacular multihull yachts – among others Catana Bali, Excess and Lagoon. The crème de la crème of daysailers, dinghies and class associations will be on board here.
Large sailboat fleets in Hall 16
In Hall 16, the international sailing yacht manufacturers will be flying the flag with their large fleets. In an impressive presentation, almost all the major suppliers will again be present in Düsseldorf in 2023 with sailing yachts from 22 to 70 feet – among others Amel, Bavaria, Bénéteau, Bente, Dufour, Elan, Grand Soleil, Nautor Swan, Oyster, Solaris and Wally Nano.
Surfing, shopping and chilling in Hall 17 with the XXL pool
The highlight for surfing is Hall 17. The XXL pool, specially lowered for the still young wingfoil sport, surfing contests, information from the pros for the newcomers and a chilling, exotic South Seas atmosphere are the hallmarks of boot's "Beach World". With its move to Hall 17, it is now right in the heart of the fair. Expert tips directly from the manufacturer or dealer are available at the stands of the international market leaders of the surf sports scene, who have docked in Hall 17 and will also be presenting numerous surf professionals.
