Official, recommended driving license for driving yachts with motor and under sail in coastal waters (all seas up to 12 nm distance from the mainland coast). Prescribed for driving commercially used pleasure boats in coastal waters.
Theory and Practice The theoretical examination consists of a questionnaire, a chart task and, if necessary, an oral examination. Advanced knowledge of navigation, seamanship, navigation law and meteorology must be demonstrated. In the practical examination, the theoretical knowledge of sailing a yacht in coastal waters must be implemented and applied. In addition to the compulsory task (rescue maneuver), selected maneuvers and other skills must be presented.
Admission:
16 years and older,
Possession of Maritime sport boating pilot's licence,
Proof of 300 nautical miles on yachts in coastal waters.
