MANGUSTA YACHTS By Overmarine Group

MANGUSTA YACHTS

The Mangusta brand was created in 1985 by the Balduccis, in business since 1950 and still is at the head of the company, Overmarine Group.
Since its foundation, Overmarine Group has become known for its dedication to investment in new technologies and innovative development. In its quest for progress it has expanded from its Viareggio base and acquired a facility near Pisa, where the Mangusta Oceano and the Mangusta GranSport lines, Overmarine Group’s recent venture into steel & displacement hulls, are built. With over 300 yachts delivered and so many years in the business, Mangusta is a brand of great tradition and distinctiveness, which today boasts three different product lines. Three different ways of interpreting the sea, but with the same technical capital of innovation and quality construction. And with the same philosophy as a reference ideal: to offer the Owner the perfect vessel for a fully custom-made experience.

The line of the tradition is that of the Mangusta Maxi Opens. It’s the sporty, fast yacht par excellence, which allows moving quickly from one place to another in full comfort (in terms of on-board space but also in terms of noise, stabilisation and vibrations).
To the Mangusta Oceano line belong long-range yachts. High on-board comfort and balance between indoor and outdoor spaces: this line is marked by an exclusive combination of the brand’s key values, applied to the long range three-decked ships. The product philosophy is expressed in its great habitability, the ergonomics, and the spaces dedicated to the Owner, to the guests, and to the crew. An ability to surprise that is extended to the technical level, starting from the high range values at various speeds, as well as performance levels in attenuating noise onboard.
Last but not least, there's the new fast displacement line, Mangusta GranSport, falling between the full-displacement and planning models. These are long range vessels with their best performance in displacement mode but capable, at the same time, to reach higher speeds, those typical of high-performance yachts, whenever desired by the Owner.

The Group spans 10 production facilities in Tuscany, Italy, in the areas of Viareggio, Massa and Pisa, totalling around 190,000 square meters. It also has two wharfs, equipped for the final preparation of the yachts, layover and the after sales service. All processes are carried out within the Group’s companies, from designing and making moulds, to moulding, lamination in composite materials, cutting the steel through to fitting the interiors, including the electronics and onboard systems. The Group also has its own in-house Design Dept. able to satisfy all the layout and decor demands of our Owners, as well as a cutting-edge Technical Office and After Sales service available 24/7.
It additionally has branch offices, in Miami USA, and Golfe Juan, French Riviera. These, plus a strategically based network of dealers, guarantee complete assistance.
