Once again, boot 2025 offers a variety of activities for children: Kid's World in Hall 13, a high ropes course at the canoe track in Hall 14, workshops at Love Your Ocean, the Sailing School, free childcare, and much more. On this page, we've listed all the activities for kids.
Free admission for children up to 12 years old
A family outing to boot just got even better: From now on, all children up to the age of 12 receive free admission to the world’s largest yacht and watersports trade fair.

Whether it's mermaiding in the dive tower, skimboarding in Hall 17, or the Sailing School—children can have fun not just on the water, but even in it at boot. Book one of the available slots for free now!
In hall 13, stand G31, kids are in good hands at the kindergarten while parents explore information and new innovations. In Kid's World at stand D91, there are plenty of fun activities for younger children. Both the bouncy castle and childcare services are free of charge.
Hoist the sails, set the course, and the sailing adventure begins! At boot Düsseldorf, the Sailing School in hall 15, stand G44, features a 25x10 meter water pool and wind machines.
Maritime Classroom
On the weekend, the Maritime Classroom by the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum turns into an interactive adventure for young and old explorers! Curious minds can try exciting water experiments, examine freshwater creatures under the microscope, and let their creativity flow with coloring pages. Visit us in hall 14, stand A02, and dive into the fascinating world of streams, lakes, and puddles!
Children's Shipyard
As part of the Classic Forum in hall 14, stand E20 / F20, children can build their first wooden sailboat. The activity is available all day and requires no registration.
High Ropes Course
At the World of Paddling in hall 14, stand E40.1 / E40.7, the high ropes course is available for children over 1.40 meters tall. Climbing is offered daily and requires no prior registration.
love your ocean
The initiative "love your ocean", in partnership with the Deutsche Meeresstiftung, presents a collaborative space with over 75 participants, showing how industry, science, and society can protect the sea and the climate today. The action booth in hall 11, stand E04, also invites children to get involved.
