The issue of safety on the water is one that is often overlooked in recreational boating, yet it cannot be ignored. The Fachverband Seenot-Rettungsmittel e.V. (FSR) has been a recognized authority in both recreational boating and the commercial sector since the 1980s and is pleased to have secured the services of experienced nautical expert and recreational boater Burkhard Rosenberg for the seminar.
Under the motto “Enjoying Boating Safely,” the seminar will focus primarily on familiarizing small crews with safety aspects, proper behavior in emergencies at sea, and the necessary equipment. Through a dynamic mix of theory and practice, everyday situations at sea will be simulated on board, and helpful solutions will be developed collaboratively. Various rescue equipment will be tested together during the seminar, whenever possible.
The seminar is aimed at men and, in particular, women who sail or motorboats, especially in coastal and offshore areas. It doesn’t matter whether you have a lot of experience or very little: you can refresh old knowledge or gain new insights.
