Balance declared winner of 2015 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race

Jim Clark and Kristy Hinze-Clark’s maxi Comanche pulled off an incredible feat, taking line honours in the 71st edition of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and winning the Illingworth trophy and Rolex Yacht Master II timepiece. After a long day and overnight wait, Paul Clitheroe's TP52 Balance was declared the overall winner of the 2015 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.

First female owner and sailor to take line honours
When Comanche crossed the finish line of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race at Castray Esplanade in Hobart, Tasmania, history was created, because Kristy Clark became the first female owner to take line honours in the blue water classic. Kristy, who raced aboard the yacht while co-owner husband Jim stayed ashore, was thrilled to take line honours in her first foray into the race.
