Adjiedj Bakas is a renowned trendwatcher and futurist, known for his engaging insights into global shifts and consumer behavior. Over the past decades, he has delivered more than 2,000 lectures internationally, captivating audiences with his unique blend of humor, optimism, and thought-provoking analysis.

Born in Suriname in 1963 and now based in the Netherlands, Bakas has authored several best-selling books, selling over 1 million copies worldwide, with translations in multiple languages including English, Chinese, and Swedish. His works explore the major trends shaping society, from sustainability and new materialism to the changing dynamics of democracy and technology.

As a speaker, Bakas combines storytelling with infotainment, offering perspectives that inspire while addressing the challenges and opportunities of the future. Known for his vibrant personality, Bakas is also a passionate art collector and nature enthusiast, bringing his optimistic worldview to every stage he graces.

Brenna Preisser
Brunswick Executive Vice President and President, Brunswick Boat Group

Brenna D. Preisser is the Executive Vice President and President, Brunswick Boat Group, where she is responsible for Brunswick’s portfolio of 18 leading boat brands, including Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Lund, Harris, Quicksilver and Princecraft.

Preisser was previously Executive Vice President and President of Brunswick’s Business Acceleration division overseeing Freedom Boat, and Brunswick’s financial services and related businesses. She successfully led the acquisition and expansion of Freedom Boat Club from 170 locations to its current footprint of 410 locations around the world, and the creation of Boateka, Brunswick’s pre-owned boat sales platform.

Since joining the company in 2004, Preisser has been instrumental in reforming company culture and leading business transformation. As Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer from 2016 through 2021, she played a pivot role in establishing Brunswick as a Forbes Best Place to Work company. Preisser’s leadership and influence have been recognized with honors, such as the National Association of Manufacturers’ STEP Award and Boating Industry’s Women Making Waves award.

Ms. Preisser has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University, a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University and a professional certificate in executive finance and competitive strategy from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Jörg Müller-Dünow
Managing Partner, markenzeichen

Jörg Müller-Dünow is Managing Partner of markenzeichen, a marketing and communications agency with offices in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. His team has been in charge of boot Düsseldorf’s social media activities since 2020.

The company also works for brands such as Lufthansa Group, GROHE, Fujifilm and many more. Jörg is an active race sailor and cruiser with his family of four. 

Paul Blanc
VP, Boat Club, Groupe Beneteau

Paul Blanc serves as Vice-President at Groupe Beneteau, where he spearheads the development of innovative sharing economy ventures, including the boat club brands Wiziboat and Your Boat Club.

Previously, Mr. Blanc held the position of Managing Director at Jeanneau, one of Groupe Beneteau’s flagship brands.

Since joining the Group in 2010, following an early career in the automotive industry, he has been instrumental in its global expansion, serving as Regional Sales Director for Jeanneau and Prestige in Asia-Pacific and later as Managing Director of the Group’s AsiaPacific branch. His move to the maritime sector was inspired by his passion for sailing and his commitment to the boating lifestyle.

Mr. Blanc holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESSCA Business School in France.
