boot Düsseldorf and the European Boating Industry will host the ninth annual International Breakfast Meeting on Tuesday 23 January from 08:15 to 10:30. Last year 140 participants attended the breakfast meeting.

Venue: Congress Center Düsseldorf, CCD Süd, Room 3. The International Breakfast Meeting will be held in English.
Since 2000, Giovanna Vitelli has been a member of the Board of Directors of Azimut|Benetti SpA. From 2004, she has intensified his active participation in the family business with a focus on corporate strategy and product development, reaching the position of Deputy -Executive Chairman with direction on new model development and Group R&D. Since March 2023, she holds the position of Chair of the Group.

Ever since, she has been employed in the family company Navela, the regional leader in distribution of Yanmar diesel engines and spare parts, Plastimo boating equipment and several other boating equipment brands. She has been working on Business & Marketing development, alongside continuous improvements in the company. Additionally, she founded the initiative Misli More (eng. Think of the Sea) which tends to educate younger generations on sustainable development within the boating industry.

In 2022, Çarkçı Denizcilik, led by CEO Furkan Çarkçı, joined the European Boating Industry as a sustaining member. With a history since 1994, Çarkçı Denizcilik is a top distributor in Turkey, collaborating with global brands. Furkan Çarkçı continues to work towards bridging European and Turkish connections, actively contributing to the industry's sustainability and digitalization efforts.

Reflecting on the marina's achievements, Maarten takes pride in securing the blue flag from the beginning, receiving five anchors in the TYHA rating, and maintaining a 95% occupancy rate. Despite these accomplishments, he acknowledges the ongoing need for improvement and emphasizes the importance of continuous refreshment, not only in terms of infrastructure but also in the operational aspects of running the marina.

Markus plays pivotal roles in various companies, serving as the Managing Director at Boesch Motorboote AG and Boesch Classic Boats Services AG, along with being a Member of Boesch Boats Holding AG. Markus actively contributes to the boating industry as a Board member of the Swiss Boat Builders Association.
Gabbi Richardson
Yachting Ventures
Gabbi Richardson is on a mission to amplify the impact and visibility of startups in the leisure marine industry by providing the network, support, and opportunities that founders need to succeed. Before launching Yachting Ventures, Gabbi worked for a VC-backed tech startup in London, collaborating closely with startup accelerators and investors to streamline and automate the fundraising process.
