The blue innovation dock at boot 2023
From 21st to 29th January, boot Düsseldorf will kick off for the first time with the blue innovation dock (bid) in Hall 10. International experts from the watersports and boat building industry, European politicians as well as representatives of institutes and associations will discuss and present solutions for the implementation of climate goals, sustainable tourism or the development of recyclable materials.

Topic in January 23: Destination Seaside at boot 2023
It doesn't matter whether your next destination is a lake, the sea or a river: At Destination Seaside in Hall 13, there will be exciting presentations and programs on traveling on and under water. And there are also tips for active outdoor sports! Here you can plan and book on-site your next trip or cruise. A cocktail stand with food and drinks awaits you at the daily happy hour from 4:30 pm.
We spoke to Anne Marei Laack about the highlights in Hall 13 and the many different attractions.
It is is a whiff of adventure and wildlife that goes through Hall 14! In-between towering rocks and trees a 90-meter long creek meanders through the hall. 3 meters wide and 40 centimeters deep, it flows into two large lakes. Take your time to test new canoes and kayaks, make your first attempts at paddling or even take a brief canoeing tour with the whole family!

Topic in January 23: Highlights Sailing Center at boot 2023
More than 100 manufacturers, associations, class societies and regatta organizers fill sailing halls 15 and 16 at the show, showcasing the "crème de la crème" of the industry. Sailing has always been more than just a sport. Sailing means true passion, and visitors can experience that firsthand in not one but two impressive halls.

Mareike Guhr is an experienced skipper as well as a sailing sports journalist. She learned sailing on family-owned ships and sailed all the world's oceans for a good 35 years. She often worked as a skipper for charter agencies, led many crews on cruises and regattas and often sailed with all-female teams. The fifth “ocean tribute” award 2022 worth 20,000 euros was presented to the organisation of “HelioRec”.
