Try all kinds of boardsports yourself - and yet stay dry!
With the large water basin in the Beach World, the skimboard course and the new Deepwater Indoorwave in the Surfers' Village, the boot already has a lot to offer for its visitors to participate actively in board sports at the show. But there are also activities for everyone who does not want to slip into a neopren suit at the show. It is really easy to get a taste of different trends in the Beach World Simulator Park without getting wet at all!
The big advantage of simulators
A great advantage of all boardsport simulators is that instructors, who support the participants at their first attempts with advice and help, can explain everything step by step slowly and in detail. If you have questions or problems, you can interrupt the exercise quickly and give help before going on, which is not always as easy on the water. So the simulators can even be helpful if you have already begun kiting or windsurfing, with certain moves or maneuvers but just do not get it quite right yet.
Defy gravity with kitesurfing
Pull the kite abruptly upwards, push the board strongly against the wave, and then fly almost weightless through the air for a while! This unique feeling can be simulated very well with the kite simulator. If you are curious to test it, get into a trapeze harness, take the bar for steering kite into both hands, put your feet on the board and let yourself be catapulted several meters into the air. A wire rope imitates the carrying capacity of the kite. An air cushion ensures a soft landing - as later hopefully also on the water.
Windsurfing Simulator
There will also be a separate simulator for windsurfing, which allows you to test how it feels to hit the waves with the board, the powreful sail in your hand, hooked to the harness at the boom and the feet In the loops for the correct position on the board.
A lot of fun and a feeling very close to real windsurfing
The board with a rotatable platform, on which a complete set of windsurfing equipment is mounted, provides a lot of fun and a feeling for windsurfing to all those who want to try it out directly at boot Düsseldorf, says Moritz Martin from Sensosports GmbH about his invention.
