The time has finally come in two days: boot 2024 open its doors. In order to make the entire boat show period as pleasant and successful as possible for you, we have compiled some important information and tips for you in advance.

Yoga for exhibitors

We are providing you with a new service in 2024: Start your day with a moment of relaxation before the boat show begins or treat your body to some goodness. We suggest trying out our specially arranged yoga sessions tailored for exhibitors. At the Destination Seaside stand (Hall 13 / A70 - D77) from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., yyou can participate at no cost with instructor Silke Schöppner-Sato. Changing rooms are available on site, all you need is your own yoga mat and a towel.

boot Opening Party at RheinRiff

At the end of the first day of boot 2024, there will be an opening party at RheinRiff (Areal Böhler, Hansaallee 321, 40549 Düsseldorf). The party will take place on 20 January 2024 starting at 8 p.m. at RheinRifff. The Strandpiraten, a very popular DJ-duo from Düsseldorf, will be there! There will be great music, delicious drinks - and you as an exhibitor at boot 2024 will receive a discount of EUR 5,- on presentation of your exhibitor pass. Tickets are available here.

Information GEMA fees

Under certain circumstances, obtaining permission for various performances (e.g., musical presentations) during the event may be necessary. This can be obtained from GEMA – gema.de (contact@gema.de) or another collecting society upon payment of a fee.

Donations for sailing in the Ukraine

Together with the German Sailing Association (DSV), boot Düsseldorf has organized a collection of donations for Ukrainian sailors. You can take part in the campaign by donating money to the DSV bank account set up for the campaign as well as donating items. In addition to the financial donations, specific materials are being collected for sailing clubs that have suffered many boat and equipment losses as a result of the bombing raids. For this reason, Kühne+Nagel has set up a container on the exhibition grounds opposite Hall 6 at Gate 1. Material donations can be handed in there until the end of boot on 28 January 2024, which will then be transported to Kiev by Kuehne+Nagel. A specific list of required donations in kind and further information on the donation campaign can be found here.

Honking on the opening day

There will be an official horn sounding at the start of boot 2024: We therefore ask you, if you are exhibiting boats and yachts, to pay attention to the countdown on the opening day, January 20, shortly before 10:00 a.m. and to bring members of your crew into position at the cockpit of the boats and yachts. At the end of the countdown, the horns of the boats should sound for approx. 15 seconds. We ask you to start the horns only after the words "boot Düsseldorf has opened".

Honking on the closing day

We will carry out the same procedure on the final day of boot at 6 p.m. sharp. Please sound the horns of your boats at this time again.
