With the new Dufour Grand Large 430, Dufour Yachts completes the new generation of the Grand Large series and further expands it.
The new Dufour Grand Large 430 is a completely new design that complements and completes the new Grand Large range. It represents the new generation of Dufour Grand Large hulls from the pen of Umberto Felice and offers a powerful and spacious hull thanks to its wide bow and modern lines in the stern. The Dufour 430 is available in two configurations and three different woods.
Modern deck layout On deck, the 430 offers a tidy, modern layout that is skilfully tailored to the needs of blue water and cruising sailboats. Foredeck and side decks remain free of trim lines and halyards, which are elegantly hidden under the cabin roof and led back to the winches at the companionway. The traveller for the main sheet is mounted on the cabin roof, the main sheet itself is led back along the superstructure to the winches at the two control stands without being able to form tripping hazards on the running decks. If the self-tacking jib provided in the standard version is omitted and an overlapping genoa is selected instead, its sheets will also be steered discreetly to the steering positions, making the 430 sailable for one person.
Wetbar in the aft Typical of the new generation of Grand Large models are the angular hull windows, which are slightly offset inwards, the wide stern section equipped with a large fold-down bathing platform and the steep and voluminous bow, which creates additional space in the fore deck. The slightly raised foot rail and the high coaming of the spacious cockpit also offer additional safety when moving on deck and a folding sprayhood offers protection against splashing water in rough seas. The highlight on deck of the Dufour Grand Large 430 is the wetbar with sink and outdoor grill, which is hidden under the bench in the aft of the yacht.
Spacious cabins Dufour Yachts offers the Grand Large 430 in two different cabin layouts, a 3 double-cabin layout and a four-cabin layout. The former offers two spacious double cabins in the aft, a spacious saloon with separate bathroom, l-shaped dining/sitting area, additional two-seater, l-shaped kitchen and navigation area with large chart table. In the foredeck there is a large owner's cabin with en suite bathroom with shower and large island bed. If you choose the four-cabin version, the owner's suite is slightly smaller and the bathroom is only accessible from the saloon. A double cabin with a bunk bed is fitted to starboard, so that the kitchen is located alongside a U-shaped dining area. The additional two-seater is omitted in this variant.
