Floatables - Experience your boat from a different perspective
Towables, Tubes, Floatables & Co
Experience your boat from a different perspective
Many manufacturers have already thought about the topic 'inflatable water toys' and are offering some entertaining and partly even curious options with a huge fun factor. Not all of them actually require a boat.
Even for very little money you can give a lot of pleasure to your children, friends and yourself with tubes, towables and the like during your boating holiday or weekend. Also, stationary floatables which do not require a boat and sometimes even reach the dimensions of complete inflatable sports parks on the water are increasingly popular.
Wide range of products and services
It is really popular to let yourself be pulled on a rubber tube behind the speeding boat. Thanks to the wide range of products, however, this no longer has to be a simple tire tube. Towables offer a huge choice of shapes and sizes. From a simple mat to the classic banana, from cockpit designs with recessed seats to plate-shaped tubes, sometimes with a reinforced underside or with fins for a better stability on the water, manufacturers offer everything you could possibly think of.
Inflatable Jet-Skis
There are even some really extravagant designs that are similar in shape to real jet skis, including an electric engine that allows you to move on the water independently of the boat. In terms of performance, however, the inflatable models are, of course, far less powerfulf than real jet skis.
It is more fun in a group
Above all, however, you don't need to be alone on the wild ride behind the speeding boat. In terms of size, recreational tube systems are now offer which have room for several people and which are almost comparable to rides available in professional amusement parks. For those who like it stylish and comfortable, there are also designs including features like coolable drink holders.
Preparing for the ride
Depending on how wild and fast you want you ride behind the boat to be, you should also take care of some safety equipment like gloves, a helmet and an impact protection vest in addition to your "slide" or "tube". At least a lifejacket should be worn by all riders at all times. Also, depending on where you are with the boat, you need to get information about regulations and should ask for designated waterskiing areas, in order not to have your fun spoiled by fines or the like.
Floatables – fun for all the family
Growing interest is recognizable for the so-called floatables, inflatable structures which are used either floating on the water or anchored to the ground to form entire fun or sports parks. Offers range from the simple mats for water gymnastics and yoga sessions on the water or simply as kids' toys to big bouncy castles including slides and climbing sections that can be assembled into entire water parks on a modular basis. The latter are becoming more and more popular especially in coastal holiday regions and offer a lot of fun for the whole family without having to rely on their own or rented boat.
