Dear Sir or Madam, we have the pleasure to contact you with this e-mail to inform you about the handling of the event boot Düsseldorf 2022, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to an official ban. According to the Conditions of Participation agreed between us (see Item 18 General Section), in such a case you will be required to pay an amount equal to the cancellation fee also specified in the Conditions of Participation. According to Item 7 of the Special Conditions of Participation, this amount is € 1,800.00. However, since the area you rented did not exceed 20m², we will only charge you € 900.00. The settlement will be done by our accounting department, from which you will receive the corresponding letters. The invoices with the costs for the stand area will be credited and you will receive a new invoice about € 900.00. We will start with this reversal from mid-February! For the sake of good order, we must make it clear that we are not declaring any waiver of rights with this arrangement, nor are we creating any precedent. Rather, this is a goodwill gesture on the part of our company.
