boot Düsseldorf – 22 to 30 January 2022

,

We wish you a Happy New Year and look forward to welcoming you in early 2022.

There are still almost three weeks to go to your trade fair participation. The trade press, however, already has MESSE on its agenda right now – making it the perfect point in time to provide journalists with initial information about your products and services. Our Press Service makes it easy for you to selectively address the media with your trade fair topics.

Find here other topics key to planning your trade fair appearance.

And don’t forget: we offer you the hygiene concept as well as the icons for download in German and English language. You can use this data to inform visitors at your stand about hygiene measures.

Wishing you successful trade fair preparations.

Obligation to Provide Evidence

Visitors to our leisure trade shows – such as boot – must be fully vaccinated or recovered.
For exhibitors, employees of exhibitors and service providers, the access requirement is always "fully vaccinated, recovered or tested".

For admission checks, in addition to identification documents for matching (ID card or passport), one of the following proofs must be available:
Vaccinated: proof of vaccination or vaccination certificate. Vaccination must have been completed for more than 14 days.
Recovered: Positive PCR test result from an official testing site. Testing must have occurred between 28 days and 6 months ago.
Tested: Negative corona test result from an official testing site. Rapid antigen tests must have been performed no more than 24 hours ago, PCR tests no more than 48 hours ago. Self-tests brought in are not accepted.

Accepted vaccines:
• All Corona vaccines approved in the EU are accepted. These are currently the vaccines of the manufacturers BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV.
Unfortunately, other vaccines cannot be accepted.

Accepted proofs of vaccination:
• digital proof (Corona warning app or CovPass app)
• printout with QR code
• the international vaccination certificate in accordance with the requirements of the World Health Organisation (WHO)

And for our guests from abroad:
• Non-European vaccination certificates without QR code, provided that vaccines approved in the EU were used
• EU digital COVID certificate, if it complies with the European certificate requirements (app or printout with QR code).
For more information: https://ec.europa.eu/info/live-work-travel-eu/coronavirus-response/safe-covid-19-vaccines-europeans/eu-digital-covid-certificate_en

All certificates are accepted in German. If the certificates are written in another national language, English must be stated as the second language.

The 2-G rule applies to visits to trade fair catering (indoor areas and outdoor terraces): 2-G is an access requirement for all guests; a negative test result is not sufficient. Exceptions are snack stands or food trucks without a terrace.

We appeal to all trade fair participants to be vaccinated. The highest possible vaccination rate offers the greatest possible safety and plays an essential role in quickly returning to pre-Covid-19 conditions.

You will find more information and detailed provisions in our Q&A.

Testing Facilities

There will be an official test centre on the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds with which you can conclude a contract for the testing of your employees for the duration of the fair. Please contact the operator of the test centre directly. You can find the option to book an appointment for you and your staff in one of these test centers here.

Please note that we expect a high occupancy rate during the trade fair and long waiting times. We therefore strongly recommend using e.g. test centres in the immediate vicinity of the respective accommodation.

You can find an overview of rapid test centres in Düsseldorf at: https://corona.duesseldorf.de/schnelltest

Go for high-performance & safe access: book your wireless Internet access direct, only from Messe Düsseldorf. There is only one official WiFi supplier – our partner Deutsche Telekom. The new “Business-HOTSPOT” products offer you all possibilities. Please note: operating your own Access Points / WiFi routers at the Exhibition Centre is not permitted. Optimum performance, of course, depends on your terminal. So make sure you get 5Ghz WiFi support when you purchase your device! For more information also watch our brief Video.

Alarm Loudspeakers

Alarm Loudspeakers
All rooms which are enclosed on all sides must be connected to the alarm system of Messe Düsseldorf in order to guarantee an alarm on the stand (also see Technical Guidelines of Messe Düsseldorf, item 4.4.4).

The halls of Messe Düsseldorf are equipped with alarm systems which carry out a special notification/evacuation sequence in the event of an incident.

As an exhibitor, you should inform your employees about this procedure. Please be aware that you are responsible for the evacuation of your stand.

Waste / Disposal and Boat Cleaning

Waste disposal
It not only saves time – it also simplifies your pre-sorting: allow the experts to take care of your waste disposal. At the beginning of the trade fair, you will receive wastebasket liner sets in different colours that support effective waste separation. The service partners pick up your recyclables at least twice a day and every day after the trade fair closes..
