They master pointe and splits, jumps and flips: the dancers of Ballet Revolución are among the best in the world! Their Show is brimming with Cuban temperament, and this exuberant energy is guaranteed to sweep you off your feet. Experience this dance revolution – on 21 + 22 January at the Capitol. What initially resulted from protest and civil disobedience has become extremely popular over time: Street Art. Today, millions are paid for works by Banksy or JR. In Wonderwalls you will see even more: the NRW-Forum has staged over 2,000 photographs, graphic designs, graffiti and designer toys to form a total pop culture artwork for you. World famous but rather rarely performed on stage: Edvard Grieg’s only piano concerto. The Norwegian was 25 years old when he composed this “stroke of genius”. Only a few years older is the Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki who will perform this concerto at Tonhalle on 27 January. And this work is brimming with youthful verve that Lisiecki expertly brings to bear. Look forward to a powerful sounding evening!
