The Van der Valk BeachClub line provides an unrivalled amount of exterior and interior space by locating the engine room in the same area as the swimming platform. The 20.50-metre BeachClub 660 Flybridge is the second in this innovative range of motoryachts and will pioneer the incredible degree of spaciousness on offer.

The Van der Valk BeachClub 660 Flybridge offers you both an unprecedented feeling of space and much more space in reality. Three outdoor zones optimise the al fresco lifestyle:

  • An enormous foredeck area offers various layout options, including a Jacuzzi.
  • The cockpit deck is an impressive location with an outside steering position.
  • The beach club aft features a smart swimming platform and a sun lounge area.
The interior of the Van der Valk BeachClub 660 Flybridge is equally impressive and includes:

  • A lovely forward owner’s suite with all-round views through giant windows
  • A spacious upper lounge with inside steering position and an equally panoramic vista
  • A large lower deck lounge with galley and dining area, plus direct access to the swim platform via curved glass sliding doors.
This first Van der Valk BeachClub represents a mini-revolution in motoryachting. As well as offering a true innovation in terms of space, the yacht is being built to the highest standard of Dutch quality and detail for which the Van der Valk brand is renowned.

The overall design brief for Nicostasia was to create a cool-looking, smart-working family boat, thoroughly adapted to the clients’ wishes. The interior and exterior were both designed in partnership with Guido de Groot. Overall, the interior is typified by bright colours, with whitewashed oak as the principal material – the family had seen this colour scheme on several other Van der Valks and opted to reproduce the palette in an even lighter version. “The interior is quite elegant and minimalistic, yet clearly very functional and robust,” says Guido de Groot. “Nicostasia is a real family boat – the owners are delighted with her and spend lots of time on board.”

The lower deck hosts the main accommodations: the owner’s suite, which takes up the full 6.25-metre beam, two guest cabins, one to starboard and one to port, and a VIP cabin forward. All accommodations include ensuite bathrooms, with the owner’s suite being especially large and also featuring a walk-in wardrobe. The guest cabins are designed specifically for the children in the family, including in terms of décor choices, underlining the fact that Nicostasia is more a family boat than a typical yacht which is intended for charter.

The Expedition is developed in a variety of exterior designs, both modern/futuristic looking and with more classic lines. The design can generally be said to have a distinctly masculine character. Sporting a round-bilge hull, Expedition’s have mainly built in full displacement versions with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, but are also available as full aluminium fast-displacement vessels.

About us

Company details

Van der Valk owes its ongoing success over the decades to an unwavering dedication to key values such as reliability, cooperation and a forward-thinking approach. They apply to every aspect of who we are, what we do and the motoryachts that result.

As a family-run company with a pedigree that spans generations, Van der Valk understands the value of keeping one’s word and creating yachts that stand the test of time. This informs everything we do. We abide by agreements made with customers, suppliers and staff; we build yachts which function equally as well as they look; we ensure that our financial situation and future prospects are stable by maintaining good solvability and a well-filled order portfolio at all times. We consider our partners and buyers as family members – and this is reflected in our excellent relationships and many repeat clients.

In keeping with a centuries-long Dutch tradition of flat hierarchies and uniting for the common good, the yachtbuilding industry in the Netherlands tends to consist of small and medium-sized companies who often work together in concert, each bringing its own expertise to the table. This allows for an unrivalled degree of flexibility and specialisation, in which Van der Valk fully participates.

We work together with owners to establish the best possible solutions for their needs, and continue our partnership after delivery with a first-class after-sales service. Within the yard, the lines of communication are short and the organisational structure flat, ensuring a pleasant working environment from which clients also benefit. And our relationship with co-makers – designers, engineers and suppliers of systems, components and materials – revolves around long-term partnerships and superior products.

This approach has also repeatedly shown its worth in after-sales service. Van der Valk’s can thank much of its success to its excellent local representatives, who have an excellent understanding of their markets and ensure good communication between owners and yard.
