Dive the Jado Trader

The Jado Trader, one of Guanaja's most well-known dive sites, is a 200 foot island freigher sunk in 80' of water.
Sunk by Geroge Cundliff in 1987, the ship remains remarkably intact, with a navigable bridge. Silversides have laid claim, but they are not the only visitors! Come see for yourself!

About us

Company details

Hotel Guanaja rests on the southern beach of eastern Guanaja, an island in the western Caribbean Sea. The turquoise waters of Guanaja are sheltered by the Mesoamerican Reef, one of only two barrier reefs in existence; the quieted surf and trade wind will assure you rest. The eastern view brings spectacular daily, ever-changing sunrises that defy description.

The most mountainous of the Bay Islands of Honduras, Guanaja is a former English colony, and the primary language is English. The history of Guanaja is as unique and diverse as the island itself, which offers peace and quiet for the weary, heaven for the diver, bonefish for the caster, shallow and pristine reefs for the snorkeler, and more; escape and adventure await you.

Hotel Guanaja itself was designed to be part of the natural environment; constructed by island residents; shrouded in meticulously planned palms and local fruit trees, you will find spacious accommodations suited for couples, individuals, families and groups.

Plan your escape to the idyllic excitement of Guanaja today!
