Highfield Boats was established in 2011 as a result of a collaboration of Australian heritage and French market development. In just eight years the company has become the worlds number one manufacturer of rigid hull inflatable boats (RIBs) featuring exclusive powder-coated aluminium hulls, renowned for their durability and performance.
Highfield Boats builds aluminium hulled RIBs from 2.4 metres (6 ft) to 8.6 metres (29 ft) thus offering a choice for every consumer and commercial customer right from the smallest of tenders to the largest of lifeboats, workboats, military and other vessels. With dealers and distributors in 38 countries the company has the ability to provide a truly global network of supply and support.
Highfields state-of-the-art production facility is located in Weihai, China. Under European management, the facility covers 10,000 sq metres and employs 200 staff. The company, which adheres to exacting quality control standards, boasts the most advanced laser cutting technology and no part of the process is outsourced. Aluminium welding is carried out by highly experienced commercially certified welders, while all production, right down to the detail of catches and cushions, is all carried out in the factory. Using the latest technology available the company guarantees production of the finest RIBs money can buy.
