Saba - St. Kitts Liveaboard Diving

The Northeastern Caribbean is an intriguing area offering a blend of Dutch, British, French and native cultures on some of the most scenic islands of the Caribbean.

The Saba - St. Kitts Liveaboard itinerary, combining diving and optional island access, has always been unique within the liveaboard diving industry. As a dedicated dive liveaboard, all diving is done directly off of the vessel, using the expansive dive deck covering the aft third of the main deck. Each diver has his or her own dive gear bin; a large camera table, as well as rinse tanks, wetsuit drying racks, charging stations are available for all to use.

Diving in the Northeastern Caribbean will surprise you - it's not mentioned often in the mainstream diving magazines, but the variety of the topography and types of sites that we visit weekly will amaze you!

Turks and Caicos Diving on the Liveaboard, Turks and Caicos Explorer II

A beautiful and luxurious liveaboard boat, the Turks & Caicos Explorer II, was designed to be a lavish yacht perfect for Turks and Caicos diving.  Designed from the ground up in 1995, she was purchased by Explorer Ventures and put into operation in the Turks & Caicos Islands in February 2005.  Equipped with Naiad stabilizers and a heavy keel, she serves as well as a Turks & Caicos liveaboard and does well on longer, open-water excursions to the Silver Bank, 80 miles north of the Dominican Republic.

The luxury vessel carries up to 20 passengers and 8 crew. All staterooms throughout the vessel have port lights or windows, individually-controlled air-conditioning, and private ensuite bathrooms.

A comfortable full-width salon, located forward of the spacious dive deck, provides seating for all guests at once, a wet bar, and an entertainment area with DVD and CD stereo. The boat deck, one level up, has ample room for sunning and relaxing; the flybridge includes a wet bar, and comfortable seating for up to 15. The two VIP staterooms located on the upper boat deck, as well as the two forward staterooms on the main deck, are equipped with TV/VCR.

About us

Company details

Explorer Ventures is aware that as a global dive business, we depend on a fragile marine ecosystem that is increasingly threatened by a multitude of formidable factors. We understand we have an obligation and a responsibility to act as stewards of our environment, so that future generations will be able to enjoy and experience the oceans as we do.

We are committed to:

Enhancing sustainability in our own operations by practising and encouraging safe and environmentally sensitive operation, and diving/snorkeling practices.
Minimizing our potential negative impacts on the natural, social, and cultural environments in which we operate.
Engaging each employee, both afloat and ashore, at all organizational levels to be responsible for the prevention of pollution or damage to the marine environment through adhering to best environmental practices and ethics.
Maintaining an open mind for new ideas in an evolving field.
Coaching conservation and environmental management ethics in our guests, local communities, and areas in which we operate.
Supporting scientific research for the marine environment and its species.
Inviting our partners, agents, and guests to participate in and engage with our environmental policies, in order to expand sustainability ethics and knowledge base.

Dive Green: Acting on Sustainability
We turned our beliefs into action and created our Dive Green Environmental Management Policy. This program identifies our potential environmental impacts in order to develop (and evolve) strategies that will help us avoid, measure, adjust and ultimately minimize our footprint. This policy helps to ensure the long-term sustainably of coral reefs, recreational scuba diving, and local livelihoods.

Over the last decade, this environmental management policy has evolved as new scientific research has been presented and our operational procedures have been optimized. You can expect this program to develop continually as we expand our global efforts, support, and knowledge base. Currently, it is in operation for our Caribbean destinations only, however will be expanded to our international fleet over the next 5 years.
