Shark Diving does not get better than this
Shark fanatics, photographers and adrenalin junkies are made a highly unusual and unique offer: Cageless Baited Tiger & Bull Shark Diving with African Dive Adventures.

South Africa is one of only a few countries in the world offering this electrifying kind of thrill-seeking shark diving. Diving with Bull Sharks

Best Time : November to July
Diving with Bull sharks is essentially the same as diving with Tiger sharks. The same rules and conditions apply.

What's different from a Tiger Dive is that on the latter one usually gets one, two or three Tigers which stay around the bait throughout the dive. On a Bull Shark Dive it is common to get from 5 to 15 animals. This makes for exciting diving for sure and is anytime as good as a Tiger Experience.

Zambezis ( = Bull sharks ) are very impressive animals. They do need a bit more time to drop their inherent caution but once Bull Sharks have completed their assessment process they allow divers right inside their sphere. This often leads to playful behaviour where such a shark can easily come within a few centimeters of a willing diver.

Great Sardine Run

SARDINE RUN 2020 Best Time : 20. June to 20. July Book Now !!!

The annual Great Sardine Run is a natural phenomenon which usually occurs during the months of June and July, when massive schools of sardines migrate from the colder waters around the Cape to the warmer waters of Kwa-Zulu Natal to give birth to their offspring. Once they've laid their eggs, they return to the Cape, closely followed by thousands of dolphins, birds, fish of prey, whales and sharks. The ocean awakes and the thrill is simply indescribable.

About us

Company portrait

Dive Center
For almost ten years we had our store- and compressor room right in the harbour of Shelly Beach. It was practical to have everything on hand including diving equipment, airfills and our freezers for the bait, but besides this , the store did not do much more for us.

Some critics mentioned that without a shop one has no real identity...
Since December 2014 we now have a proper dive shop and a base where we meet our divers, where we belong.
To us it feels like a fresh wind is blowing off the cobwebs of African Dive Adventures.
Although the actual shop is very small, it is definitely a fine place where divers find everything they could ask for. Our emphasis lies on quality rather than price, yet everything is affordable.

In the meantime we have added the shop next door to our dive centre and call it the equipment room.
Here we store all our rental equipment as well as our divers' own equipment over night.
The wetsuits are hung up on a rack and two ventilators all but dry the suits out for the next day.
