The PADI Advanced Open Water Course opens up more diving possibilities, enhances your skills, and once you are certified you can dive deeper to 30m/100ft giving you access to a wider variety of dive sites and marine life. There are many sea creatures that you can’t see at shallower depths, and wrecks are often found deeper than the 18m/60ft maximum your Open Water Certification allows you to go.

If you want to go pro, you can then go on further to complete your Rescue, Dive Master and Instructor certifications!

What about Amed? The famous USAT Liberty wreck is only 15mins away! There are nearby dive sites that are great for both macro and also for seeing larger fish like trivially and snappers along with the few turtles, and Amed also offers some top-class muck diving where you can see mimic octopus, ghost pipefish and more.

The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving and consists of four open water training dives.

The Fun Part
The fun part of the PADI Wreck Diver course is visiting wrecks, unlocking mysteries and starting to gain the knowledge and experience that allows you to see things that others overlook. Sometimes, only the trained, experienced eye recognizes that a small hole or open door likely caused the vessel’s demise. The dives include mapping the wreck and doing a penetration dive of the wreck. This is actually a great option in Lembeh as there is a very large wreck that we can use to fully explore over 4 dives.
