Company portrait

The Catalan Association of Tourist Marinas and is a private non-profit organization, founded in 1983, is composed of merchants ports and ports sports in Catalonia.

Since its inception, the organization has worked together to bring together merchants marinas in its various legal forms, whether sports clubs, companies or consortiums and has based its management in identifying common interests and defending and developing, making it possible to unify and improve in the provision of services to all Catalan marinas.

The high representation, which has already decided since its inception, is placed as interlocutor for the various administrations involved in one or another and / or infrastructure are tutelan these marinas. Currently, the association has 46 partners of the 50 ports in Catalonia, to which accounts for 92% of port concessions granted in Catalonia, including those that are supervised by the State Ports.
Since 1989 and until 2010, the presidency was occupied by Mr. Francesc Xavier Mangrané, whose management has created a unity and industrial awareness that has deepened mutual understanding and improved the overall management of the port facilities. In this regard, it should be noted that the relationship with the Port Authority has always been positive for the entire sector over the years.
From 2010 to 2018, the presidency of the association was held by Mr. Tomás Gallart. In April 2018, Mr. Albert Bertran was elected as the new President, who has led a new Board of Directors until today.
