About us

Company portrait

The story of Tiwal is the story of a young woman who is not at a loss for words: Marion Excoffon.

Before Marion made a name for herself in the field of design, she first had to take a no for an answer. That of her father, who refused to give her the family boat. That seemed to settle the issue, but he had made the calculation without the host. Marion came up with the idea for her own foldable sailboat.

Soon she decided to make an inflatable dinghy out of it. Thus was born Tiwal, the first inflatable dinghy. Several prototypes later, Tiwal docked at the Paris Boat Show in 2012. Success came quickly. After winning numerous awards and selling more than 1800 boats, Tiwal, with Marion at the helm, her partner Emmanuel and a team of 10 based in Vannes, is now setting sail for America. Have a good trip!
