Our products

Product category: Diving Suits/Jackets

W4 is the latest wet suit with back zipper from Waterproof. After almost 30 years of experience in manufacturing wetsuits, we have put all our knowledge into this high quality suit with an eye-catching retro-futuristic design.

The 3D anatomical design with pre-shaped arms and legs with stretch inserts and gender-specific construction ensures a comfortable fit and relaxed body position in the water. The 3D molded rubber knee pads are perfect for the instructor who spends a lot of time on their knees in the water during lessons. Double smooth skin cuffs on the arms and legs, an adjustable neck and 10mm thick spinepad, and an extra seal on the back zipper work together to keep the cold water out. The seals are designed for WP boots and gloves. All zippers are top grade Vislon from YKK. The bronze slider in the rear zipper will provide years of trouble free operation.

It features ToughTex inserts on the elbows and knees, bonded HiQ nylon fabric, and 100% CR neoprene in all inserts - quality in every detail. The W4 also features double computer strap anchors with non-slip, comfortable front neck zipper, plush lining and anti-slip reinforcement at the seat and shoulder.

The WPAD™, or the Waterproof Personal Accessory Dock, is a soft, artfully designed docking station located on the right thigh for our expandable pocket. The pocket is large enough to store an extra mask, slate, deco table, GoPro camera, etc. Use the bag as needed when you want to streamline your suit dive without it.

terproof has been developing and testing drysuit material with manufacturers since 1983, and this is the best lightweight drysuit fabric they have ever developed. Tri-Lam fabric, with its special formula, is lightweight, soft and durable - a rare combination. It is sewn together with a single seam and soft, rubberized threads, ensuring a very flexible and comfortable suit. Soft, flexible neoprene boots and a plastic zipper keep the weight down. The entire suit, including valves, boots, seals and suspenders, weighs only 4.1 kg (men's medium).

The D3 Ergo is descended from the EX2 expedition drysuit, which has its roots in specialist military suits where light weight, flexibility and dexterity are key. After the EX2 had been on the market for a while, Waterproof realized that it was being used in very different environments. Both tech divers and polar divers loved it. The suit was much more versatile than anyone could have imagined. So it was decided to make a new suit with the same features, but with a strong Tri-Lam fabric instead of the breathable EX2 membrane. Including replaceable silicone cuffs. So if you love mobility, flexibility, a good fit, light weight and still a durable suit, this is the suit for you.

Being derived from a military suit, the D3 is designed for unrestricted mobility and control both above and below the surface. As such, it has a slimmer cut around the torso and legs to reduce drag and unnecessary air movement and improve control. The D3 has a little more room around the shoulders to improve mobility in that area. With the placement of the dry zipper and the very soft Tri-Lam fabric, there are literally no restrictions on movement.

This suit was developed based on military specifications. The Swiss Army, Portuguese Naval Forces and some special police forces are equipped with this suit. It is an all-black combat suit with two expandable pockets on the thighs. Features include an anatomical design, super elastic neoprene cuffs and unique 3-dimensional hard rubber knee pads, to name a few.

The SD Combat features a non-magnetic metal dry zipper (military specification) that bridges the gap between a dry suit and a wetsuit. It is dry enough to keep the diver warm in colder waters, but still has the comfortable fit of a high quality wetsuit. It allows for longer dives in a warmer environment and lowers air consumption by reducing heat loss.

About us

Company portrait

We are all sentient beings, filled with passion, on different paths in life. What we all have in common is two worlds: the world above and the world below the surface of our oceans. Our purpose and mission is to give you, the diver, the opportunity to experience the amazing underwater world that covers more than seventy percent of our planet. The ocean. Our Oceans. Because we want you to visit this mysterious and awe-inspiring world. To fall in love with it and respect it. Just like us, #FACINGREALITY.

We are passionate about diving - that's how our story begins. Waterproof invites people to share and be a part of this universe. To experience marine life that comes in all shapes, sizes and colours - and in all kinds of environments, from tropical waters to the Arctic and everything in between. You choose. We provide.

The story of Waterproof is also the story of its founders, two brothers who grew up by the sea on the west coast of Sweden. Completely different personalities in most ways, but pursuing the same goal: Björn Ehlmé, CEO and the inventive and creative businessman. Göran Ehlmé, head of R&D and celebrated divemaster, extreme diver and the first to lead diving expeditions to the polar regions, as well as underwater photographer for the BBC and National Geographic.

You could say that the story of Waterproof began dramatically in the late 1960s; Göran fell off the pier into the sea as a young boy and is just about to experience this new magical world before being pulled up by his father and older brother. The rest is history, now with a dedicated development team, multiple awards for the best wetsuits with production facilities, service stations and retailers worldwide.
